you are mistaken if you believe that Damascas was spared the civil war. Right next door was a palestinian refugee camp that over time was built up from tents to houses and eventually all the way to 5 story buildings for appartments. They rebelled against assad and kept the fight on for over a year. During this time Assads forces was eventually able to surround them and it and that is when the true horrors began. They stopped food deliveries into the refugee camp. they cut all water lines. Those fighters kept Assad out for over a year and a half but signed a treaty to be evacuated north to areas that the rebels still controlled in idlib province. Most of the fighters and their families that hadnt starved left. A few stayed, about 100 men and their families. BIG MISTAKE. They were all rounded up. The women and girls all the way to 8 years old were gang raped by Iranian and Hezbullah fighters and then killed after in front of the men in prison. They showed those rapes to each man so they knew what had happened. Most of those men felt extreme guilt for a few months as they awaited their fate. Assads men did that on purpose as a form of mental torture. Imagine being one of those men and knowing that because you chose to stay your women and girls were gang raped and killed.The kids 8 and younger were adopted out to alawaite families and forced to convert from sunni islam their religion that they grew up with. And finally every last man was tortured and killed by different tortures to the last man. this was done at a military prison at an air base just outside the city of Damascas. The only good thing is this. The rebels have the names and addresses of every torturer and supervisor that has tortured over 100k to death and another 300k that were tortured and released so they would go back and tell their friends and famiy what happened to scare the population to not protest or be disloyal or they will kill you by torture. the videos coming out since Assad fell shows that this was true. that Assad had mass killings and torture on an industrial size. The last couple of countries i have seen this in was Iran after the 1979 revolution. they killed every member they could get their hands on of the communist party. the reason, was because communism was secular and they didnt believe in god. So they used them to help protest and over throw the shah only to be arrested and killed within weeks after the revolution. The other was Pol Pot in Cambodia in the mid to late 70s. He wanted to return society back to when their great empires ruled the areas. To the point that they killed every doctor who didnt manage to get out of the country because Pol Pot said that in the reign of the empire they didnt have modern medicine so they were not having it. They also emptied out the cities and made them slaves to work out in the rice paddies because back then farm workers were slaves. so they enslaved millions from the cities. if you had autism or any mental health issues it was an automatic death. in the last50 years those two are the bad ones up till Assad. about 500k communists were killed in Iran and about 2.25 million were killed in Cambodia.

She got economically sanctioned years ago, but there is no evidence she has committed crimes against humanity. Who knows what she knew about the regime. The picture I am getting is that Bashar Assad didn't do much of the dirty work, that was his brother, uncles, and cousins. His brother Maher was in charge of the secret police and terror militias. It was his uncle who turned the protests into an armed uprising by ordering the army to shoot. Bashar seemed to be pretty weak and out of touch, which fits as he was never supposed to be the leader. He was a doctor until his older brother and the heir, was killed in a car crash.

Its crazy to know that the main drug dealer was Bashar Assad. The captogan making labs are being shown on Syrian tv. They were ran by Assads brother and it bought in over 5 Billion dollars to the Assad. it cost them less than a dollar to produce and for example in Saudi Arabia it cost between 20-25 each pill. they also exported them to Europe where there was an 8.5 million load. it costs about 20 dollars a pill in Europe. the farther north you go the more it costs. They are used mostly by raivers because its an upper.
@ulricgordon8586Ай бұрын
The worst thing is the users of these drugs refuse to accept that they helped prop up Assad's regime.
@mattwatsonАй бұрын
Captagon was his regime's only big source of income after the west put sanctions on them. The US backed Kurds largely controlled the oil fields. Captagon isn't that popular in Europe, most of it was sold in the middle east, particularly Saudi Arabia. It actually gave Assad a lot of leverage over countries in the region because they wanted to stop the drugs that were infecting their youth. Assad used this leverage to regain diplomatic and economic contacts with them, that's how Assad was invited to their countries in 2023, for the first time since the war began.
