Glad you're feeling better. I got vertigo from riding the Eagle coaster at Dollywood. My husband is afraid of coasters so he closes his eyes. I looked sideways towards him the whole ride, saying, Open your eyes! Enjoy this view! Etc. Looking sideways gave me bad vertigo for 3 weeks! Finally it went away. My mom's had it, Dr said to put a post-it note on the wall with a 1" dot on it. Stare at it as u slowly turn ur head left to right without taking ur eyes off it

My husband also gets vertigo. This latest time, it went on for at least a month. We learned about an Epley maneuver from our local news station. We happened to see a physical therapist to have it done and it was life-changing. Having the Epley done was not pleasant--the therapist likened it to riding a rollercoaster over and over. However, the next day, my husband was totally over the vertigo. We would encourage you to look into the Epley maneuver and try it. We also were told that ENT doctors can perform this as well. We know how terrible vertigo is and wish you all the best!

Prayers for both of you. I’m 48 year old female and had severe Vertigo, Insomnia and brain fog for 10 years. I was on the highest dose of sleeping medication and have 4 kids. Over the last two years I came across the Carnivore Diet and within 3 months of eating only animal based diet I came off all my medication and can finally fall asleep. I started following Dr. Anthony Chaffee, Dr. Ken Berry, homesteadhow and many others in the carnivore community. I basically had to go down to zero carbs to function properly. I still have carbs here and there but as soon as I start having problems I have to get back on the carnivore wagon. They say to try it for 90 days and for me it drastically improved my health.

I don't get them very often now which is good. My dad, he's 93, he has vertigo and has been to many doctors, speacialist and they have yet to figure out what is causing his vertigo so I am very interested in how you do with this process. I hope it works for you and again please keep us updated to see how it works and if it does maybe it would be something for my dad to try. Thanks

I haven't had true vertigo, which is when the world spins and you can't tell up from down. My issue was what I called a "boaty" feeling. Like I was walking on a boat. I watched a KZbin video on the Epley Manuever and tried it myself. It seemed like I got some relief, but it would come back on and off. In August, when visiting Sevierville, I got dizzy and actually fainted in Walmart. When I got back to Florida, I saw my doctor, and he referred me to a cardiologist. Long story short, my "boaty" feeling was caused by a heart issue. After fainting again about 10 days ago, my doctor hospitalized me and put in a pacemaker. I never thought my woozy-dizziness was caused by anything other than my inner ear. I'm glad you're looking into various treatments.

Low blood pressure, low blood volume, MVP, dysautonomia, occipital injury (hitting the back of the head) causing over convergence in eye(s), preservatives/additives, blood flow issues... All things that can cause chronic vertigo that doctors miss way too often. Keeping my protein below 100g on average a day helped stop my chronic kidney stones. I got off a shoebox full of medications a few years back. I managed to find ways to live with herbs, supplements and food as my medicine and regular exercise (hiking, weight lifting). Prayers for you all to find the answer 🙏🏻

Sorry about Ryan's kidney stone! (We prayed for you!) And been there with the vertigo. Benign Positional Vertigo. Here's a tip for anti-inflammatory food. If you like Pork Rinds/Chicciarones. You can eat them! Skin (which is what pork rinds are made from) is collagen-rich, so it's very similar to broth in its anti-inflammatory and healing properties. We wish you well! Gina & John!

Bri, we promise you there are some chiropractors that know the EPLEY procedure, but the diet, etc. is not what you need to feel more yourself! The last one I had was about 4 yrs ago and we let the house at 330 am because I was determined to be setting in cades cove by 8am. Well needless to we ended up in a hospital in knoxville then transferred to another one so they could remove a 8 mm kidney stone. We finally got to our hotel in pigeon forge at 9pm that night. The er dr told me that lemon in water is good at dissolving kidney stones so I drink at least 2 8oz of that everyday and knock on wood I have not passed anymore even though I know I have had them in my kidneys bc of them showing up on ct scans or xrays that I have had for other ailments.

The thing that helped my virago go away was when I went to P.T. And she was a virago specialist and she said it was my eyes causing it. So she did eye training with playing cards on the wall with a red laser beam exercises. Then she taught me to lay on my side and look up to the ceiling for 15 seconds. Then sit up slowly for a minute then change sides and do it again. I did these side exercises 3 times a day at first then twice a day, then just in the morning until it was gone. I have been really good for 5 years now but if I ever feel like that is trying to come back then I do the side exercises again.
