I experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks because it wasn't my passion and it was toxic. I had no choice but to either choose my job or mental health. In the end, I chose the latter despite there was a pandemic. All I knew at the end of the day was my mental health and passion isn't worth risking for the sake of saying I have a job.

I want to experience what it feels like to wake up in the morning, going to the job you love, getting to do what you love to do. Ive always wanted to get a job where it doesn't feel like working. 🥺💛 EDITED: I quit on my previous jobs to continue my studies. I'm currently a 3rd year college student and I found out what's best for me when I became a student again. Being a Flight Attendant like Ate Jen, was not really my childhood dream. When I was 8, I wanted to be a teacher. When I was in high school, I wanted to be a writer. When I entered a vocational course in 2016 and worked after I graduated, I wanted to be a person who gets to do what I love to do. So at that young age, I quit my job and pursued my education again. And on this long process of becoming a student again, I found out that Hospitality Management has a room for me. I joined various competitions in our school and didn't really imagined that I could do that. That it would actually led me into dreaming of becoming a Flight Attendant. And to whoever is reading this, it's never too late to find out what is really for you. If you think you're lost, take time to find yourself and what you really want to do with your life. Be who you want to become. 🤗

@@AyaVlogz being lost is part of everyone's life, funny thing is, when I was lost, I literally went to google and search how to find my way back. 🤦 But the first thing that I did in order to get there, is, acceptance. I accepted the fact that I don't know where my life is going. I accepted the fact that maybe being lost is part of growing up and knowing where you really belong. Knowing yourself, finding your way back, is a long process... you just have to keep your Faith on Him. Really... I prayed for everything I am right now and for who I will become. You will also get there. Keep going. I know it's easy said than to be done but eventually, right things will fall into place. We were all born in this world and has a purpose in life. It's our job to find what it is. And there will be moments in our lives that will make us see it. 🙏🤗 Forget the tips, go on with your life and surrender it to God.

My definition of a good business is low/no overhead, scalable, no inventory, no accounts receivable, and something you enjoy. Obviously you have found this. Thank you for making this video. I really needed to hear this. I quit my job last 2019 to pursue a Post-Graduate degree. At first I was actually hesitant because the job I had actually paid good money- but the work culture wasn't good anymore, and I felt like I wasn't growing anymore. Of course it's scary to leave a job that pays you good. But then one day, I finally took the courage to leave that job and pursue the degree. Fast forward to this year, I'm kinda struggling to find a job since the pandemic is still here. To be honest, I feel really lost and anxious. I don't know what's going to happen next, but I'm doing my best to be optimistic about what's to come in life. More power to you and stay safe!

Idk why but I can relate to you almost in all aspects. I also got laid off 2 months ago and it broke me so bad. Bit disappointed. She mentioned that she is in the city to get closer to the brands? We like her vlog not because of brands but because of the content. I was expecting that she is in the city to get a job in which we will be there for her to follow her journey. But that is not the scenario. She rejected two opportunities that may open doors of opportunities while making a vlog. Missed opportunities that not everyone has specially during this pandemic. Still a fan but as mentioned earlier, bit disappointed. That's her choice and still wish her well.

While Jen has a valid reason for saying "I don't wanna accept a job for the sake of having a job," I wished she also recognized that it was coming from a position of privilege. She said that because she politely declined an offer for a job she believes doesn't fit her qualifications, and that is totally okay. On the other hand, she can also decline such offers because she has a fall back career- content creation.

She has no obligation to check her privilege especially when I don't hear her complain or seek approval for her decision.
