I totally agree with you, Jeni! I moved in with my mom a year ago because she’s almost bedridden with horrible pain. I look at being able to take care of her as a blessing. I’m so grateful that I still have her. My dad died in 2003. It’s the 10 commandment that comes with a promise…

60 years marriage, amazing 👏. My parents 62 years. I never take for granted my parents, almost 86 and almost 83. 25th November and 14th December. Congratulations to both 👏 ❤❤❤

We have 7 adult children. Married and our 17th grandchild next week. The transition from mom to grandma was an adjustment. I so enjoyed the time of them being little!

Gosh you look the same as your wedding day. That’s the blessing of clean living, and keeping busy with beautiful grand babies you don’t age as quickly. I am so envious as my only grand child lives in London and us in the Pacific Northwest. I do miss his cuddles.

Congratulations on the soon to be grandbaby. I am getting married the 21st of December and trying to get ready for that is a chore for sure. You may be tired, but you look beautiful and so very healthy. After the cancer you were out of sorts obviously and now you can't even tell you are more beautiful than ever.

Congratulation to the graduate....with only 4 kids left at home now you must be lost...I remember so well when my son graduated high school,my husband and I both bawled like babies and a couple of months later when he left home for University I knew things would never be the same again..we really did cry then...My Mom had 8 kids and she cried as hard when the last one left home as she did when the first one left...welcome to the new baby on the way..

My gosh you are always so busy Jeni. It's a great time of year even if it is a little hectic....im feeling down in the dumps, feeling sad it's silly....our daughter has just been accepted in to uni so she will be off to Melb in Feb and our son is about to start Yr 12 so he will most likely only be home another year...im sad at the thought that they will both be gone...sounds very selfish....im so happy for our daughter and proud that she is off to Uni but I just feel a little deflated...hubby and I will be lost with our kids gone 😢...

Yeah, your mom like that but I didn’t have that mom mom didn’t care about things. My mom didn’t go to my graduations my college graduations any of my tennis me to a played for high school college. I lost my daughter in a horrific accident at work but I would’ve been the total opposite of my mother this year. I’ve decided I’m not doing anything with my family. My mom did Everything for my sister and went to everything, and when it came to me nothing. So from now on I will be doing Thanksgiving and Christmas by myself Thanksgiving was great. I got a meal I volunteered to dog sit for somebody that I don’t sit for and I had peace finally❤❤

Sorry to have to say Jenny but I hvae lost all trust in the medical industry since 'recent times'. It seems, that it is all about each swipe of that medicare card =(xray/scan/bloods) and any prescription that can be written. They never suggest a healthy clean diet, sunshine excercise etc. Faith Lost.
