This video was super interesting. Thanks a lot for being so transparent about the layoffs(yeah I heard they were pretty rough :/) and your time at uber. It seems pretty interesting to me that every company is so different in how they do work, gives me hope that it'll keep coding interesting in general haha. Great Video. Im new to the data analytics/science world. I currently work a full-time job not realted at all to "thinking" however, im a very analytical person by nature. My plan was to pursue a career as a data analyst. My plan was to go through the online certification process and go from there. You think pursuing Data Analyst first is a proper path then move into a Data Scientist role?

What do you think about medical physics? You (and others) inspired me to go back to school, im going to ASU to try and earn my BS in physics, from there im still not sure but im leaning medical physics, I heard you can make 200k base as a physicist in hospitals, certifying radiation equipment and whatnot. How does that compare to what you're making?

Hello Priya, I am new to your channel and have now watched almost every video of yours. I love your channel because it's so informative about university. I see you tell people to email you in other videos if they have questions but I can't find it in your channel. I have many questions but one of them is: As a 25 year old myself, I'm going to a community college because I had terrible grades in high school and my hopes are to increase my chances to get into higher tier universities. Do you know anyone who transfered into u chicago from a non 4 year school and what they did to achieve that? Thanks and please don't stop making content! Edit: i want to mention that you inspired me to go for a physics major after being stuck between that and engineering for so long.

Hi! I think for transferring, I'd say your grades in your first year of college and your transfer essay are the most important things to perfect. Definitely keeping grades up and having strong reasons to want to transfer sprinkled throughout your essay is important. Thanks so much for watching my content!

Are these roles mandatory on-site or do they also have fully remote work?

It’s a hybrid policy so 50% of the time has to be in-office! But when I was with Drizly, that was 100% remote.

Hello. Which field is better to work in America: Physics or programming?

Hi! I studied physics but ended up in programming. If you're talking about just corporate work, definitely programming because there are more available jobs. But physics involved programming (I had computational astrophysics classes) and that was good enough to get me a job and land in the Data Science field!
