I just wanted to elaborate on this point because I've noticed some comments I'm not 100% comfortable with about it. My boyfriend doesn't want to be in videos because of his job. For what he does it wouldn't be appropriate. I respect that, and I just ask that you do too. I share a lot of my personal life with you all, but that doesn't mean you know everything. Him not being in videos isn't a commentary on our relationship by any means, and the reasoning behind it isn't even something I need to share, but quite frankly I find these comments and the speculation hurtful. My relationship is mine and all I ask is that I'm allowed to keep it that way. Like I've said in this video, I don't want my whole life to be on show for the internet. I'm sorry if this upsets you in any way, but please respect my privacy. Thank you 💕

I kind of have a running joke with my girlfriend, who watches these with me, that your boyfriend is a secret agent and so if he was on camera it would upset NATIONAL SECURITY in Canada. Getting your dream dog is such an amazing feeling. I got a Minature Pinscher 4 years ago, he's turning 5 this year, and I still look at him in amazement that's he's all mine and I own him and he's my best friend. So happy for you! I completely understand the want for privacy especially if his job is in the field I thinks it's in. If it is, I have 3 friends in that field and I totally get it ..and Very much respect it. Congrats on the progress on your book and the moving! You seem so happy and it's great to see that! Charlie is so cute 😍 It's ok to keep your private life private, you're allowed to choose how much of your life you show on the internet, and your friends, family and boyfriend are also allowed to choose not to be on your social media without owing anyone an explanation, so I totally respect that. I can imagine that it can be difficult to draw the line on what can go on your social media and what is private, but you seem to have a very good definition on what you want to share and what not and stand by it, which is really admirable. Hailey try not (even if sometimes it is difficult) to think too much about the bad comments, if a had a booktube I wouldn't like to bring my family, friends or boyfriend or girlfriend to my videos. What you do here is your job, and fortunately you love it, and it's ok for many more reasons than we can possibly imagine that you don't show them. I left my dog with my parents when I moved. She was an elder and I felt like it would just be too much for her to move with me. I also wanted to make sure she was there to protect my parents. Glad you are still vlogging and happy. People are always going to ask questions they shouldn't. You are doing a great job dealing with the negative and nosy comments. My little pup gets very excited with cats too, he's 2 in February and he lived with cats for the first year before my bf and I moved in together so he always wants to be friends with cats and comes on too strong! Lol it's always sad when he scares them and he just wants to be friends

Hailey in Bookland So happy to help!! Anyone that I hear is getting a puppy, that’s one of my first recommendations! When I had my first puppy, living on my own, they didn’t have those yet so I wrapped an old fashioned ticking alarm clock in baby blankets and put it in the crate with the her and it worked like a charm! So to anyone that can’t afford a snuggle puppy, they aren’t available where they live, or for whatever reason, that trick works too!

Your puppy is so cute! Just be aware that dachshunds can have some problems with their spine and legs/knees because of the way they've been overbred. The problems can be managed, just keep a look out for them. Keeping him at a healthy body-weight will help (student veterinary nurse here) 💕 You also did absolutely right by your cats. Cats love their routines and environment so moving them probably would have stressed them out. Really excited for all the new changes in your life, hope it all keeps going well 😊

Ohmigod! I loved The Right Swipe. I think you’ll really like it, I don’t believe it would be too steamy for you. I remember you saying in another video that if it’s too explicit that it would be a bit much for, but I think this one you really like. On another note. When I moved from my Mom's I wasn't able to take my dog Cody whom I loved dearly because he was used to being at my Mom's, I couldn't have an animal where I was at and I didn't live far so could visit him whenever I chose to so can understand why Jackson didn't move with you. There's nothing wrong with choosing to keep some areas of your life private and it's perfectly understandable because it's a personal choice and no one should be giving you a hard time about it. If I chose to start making videos, I wouldn't show my family or boyfriend either unless they wanted to be in the videos because that's an area of my life I'd want to stay private.
