I think the pandemic has changed many people’s sense of what they want to spend their valuable time doing. I mean those of us who weren’t financially decimated and had the luxury to reassess, of course. Being locked down gave us time to reflect. We don’t have time to do that often because we’re always either working or playing catch up.

I have a full-time career also and I just can’t imagine myself leaving the stability of my job to be a full-time youtuber/influencer. The thought scares me because I grew up really poor. A stable and consistent paycheck is a necessity for me. But then again I’m in law enforcement and work a full-time schedule in only three days week. I have four days off, so it gives me time to do social media.
