Dearest Tina... you are a precious soul and seeing our amazing moms hurt is one of the most difficult journeys, you are not alone!! Diane is being lifted to the LORD in our prayers and so are you and your family!! No matter how much notice you get... it is hard!! It was 21 years ago this month that we got the news that my mom had only weeks to live. I could only hope that she would not suffer the pain and I learned to pray for mercy by allowing her to go home to her GOD, she had babies and my oldest brother to go to as well!! You are such a blessing creating is a gift from our CREATOR!! Crafting is my therapy as well and you inspire me. You will survive because your family needs you to celebrate life. When you introduced your bakery stamps and dies I immediately thought of my mom who loved to bake and create beautiful treats for everyone. I don’t think a day went by she didn’t bake a pie, cookies, cake and at Christmas the beautiful treats she gifted to family, friends,doctors, neighbours etc. she passed in 2012 and I still think of her first when something wonderful happens and I want to tell her first. Mom raised the three of us by herself. Our dad passed in 1958 when we were little girls and it was tough for her but she was tenacious so she dug in and gave us the best of herself. I see that tenacity in you Tina with the changes you endured because of the pandemic and your business. You are stronger than you think and you are tenacious. Tina, please don’t apologize for being real with us. It’s your mom and that’s such a special relationship. I teared up hearing your voice and I could feel your pain. We know she is going to be ok but we always want our moms, I’m sure it’s so hard to imagine her not available and the thought of how much you will miss her. As many patients I took care of watching this very "bleak" happening, it NEVER gets easier except when I can finally step back and realize they are happier than ever with our dear LORD ! I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and her illness. Moms are so precious. My mother turns 80 this year and I can see her slowing down and the thought of losing her breaks my heart, so I can imagine how you're feeling. Even for those of deep faith, it still hurts to lose the ones we love. May your faith bring you some comfort and I have no doubt that we'll all be here waiting for you when you need to take a break. I hope you're able to spend more time with her during this time.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother, Diane. I have been meaning to get my craft area in my new place, so I will do that and make a card for her. My mother was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia several years ago, which is a very quick onset. She came through it, but it was a very emotional time. Will keep you and your mother and your family in my prayers. I lost my husband to cance of the appendix, which is very rare. He got sick and passed away in less than 2 months. Do what you need to and we will be here! You are such a sweet soul and we are glad that we can be of some support as you go through this.

Oh Tina, I am so sorry to hear this news. I am an elderly woman my self, but was lucky enough to have my parent live to be in the 80s. I was totally a momma’s girl, so there isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think of her and miss her. That being said, just know that you have a great number of friends who will be with you in thoughts and prayers while you are going through this. I will certainly be making a card for your mom. Tina, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom; I can truly relate. I know this is a difficult time for your family and my thoughts and Prayers are with you. There's a time when the pain will becomes more bearable and all those loving memories - the good and great memories - will rush in and help your heart heal. Although you never 'fully recover' from the loss, your love and memories of your times together with her will help soften the pain. Hang in there and treasure every moment you have left... do whatever and anything you need to do - take all the time you need because your friends and fans are right there supporting you. Tina, so sorry to hear about your mom. Yes, prayers will continue to come the way of your mom, you and your family. I lost my dad 25 years ago and still think of him daily! I have found that talking about him, sharing memories, keeps him close! My dad passed unexpectedly and so I didn’t get to see or talk to him prior to passing, so take as much time as you need to visit with your mom. I am on an extended trip without my crafting supplies, but I will send your mom a card…it will be store bought (eek!) but I promise the sincerity will be just as prevalent as a crafted card! Tina, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. We lost my father to bladder cancer in 2022. Like your mom, he didn't have many symptoms. By the time it was diagnosed, he was at stage 4. My father and I had a slightly strained relationship, but it was very hard to lose him. He had always been a part of my life. It's not easy to lose a parent. It was a blessing, I think, that he was at stage 4 by the time he had symptoms. That way, he didn't have to live through years of being sick. I only remember him being sick once, and he didn't do sick well. Prayers for your mom and hugs to you.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. My mom died the day before her birthday, a few weeks before Thanksgiving, and less than 2 months before Christmas. We knew she had limited time left, but we really thought we'd have those 3 celebrations with her. It sounds like your mom is ready, but I know how hard this is for you, her beautiful daughter!
