I just want to say that you are not alone and I want to truly thank you for showing this side of yourself. It makes me feel less alone. Seeing you break down like that really broke my heart but it also reminded me of exactly how I feel at times. Your emotions resembled mine. And for the longest time I thought that wasn't normal since Ive never seen someone break down like I do. I can relate to how you feel. Everything you were describing sounded just how I feel at times. Its weird but I knew exactly of the pain you were talking about. When you cried my heart ached because I know how it feels. Just remember you are truly loved and we all admire you. I cant thank you enough for making videos on youtube. It really does mean a lot to me seeing someone with the same skin texture as me on here. I have literally been in this exact situation. My husband and I bought a home and then he lost his job a couple months later. We ended up having to sell our home and moved across the country with our two kids only for him to get a job that made him the senior engineer. Life is funny sometimes, but it works out in mysterious ways! Hang in there Ivory!

it really is SO stressful. especially since all you can do is apply to places and just sit there and wait. there's really nothing else you can do except HOPE someone responses and just waiting is SO anxiety inducing. not to mention the interview process is so nerve wracking, only to eventually hear "we've decided not to move forward with your application" UGH just talking about it is making my heart race lol

America is doing great having to avoid mass lockdowns so you can seek jobs in different techniques (not just internet based - too limiting). My friend found 3 contract jobs in the last 2 months alone using the word of mouth/net working method..I hope you all the best!!

yes exactly! people need to understand that some people aren't ready to talk about certain things and THAT'S OK. but pushing them to blurt it out just to be nosey or act like it's "because they care" seems so insincere and rude. Wonderful that Steve has gotten a job where his opinion will have more weight (it must have been endlessly frustrating to have his very accurate observations ignored, that would drive me nuts). I'm so sorry about your depression, I can definitely relate to you. Please know that you matter and honestly seem like such a kind person. Since the pandemic, I've graduated from college and have had no lucky job searching. I'm constantly depressed and crying because I have no clue what I want to do in life. Side note, if your husband's company is hiring, my boyfriend really needs a job in his field. He graduated with his degree in computer engineering last year.

I am so sorry! I know how stressful that is not getting a job out of college! my husbands company is no longer hiring since he is took on his new role, but there are SO many software dev jobs out there to apply for! check monster, linkedin, indeed, and stackoverflow. All go on official pages of companies! like chase bank or US bank, then go to their career tabs because last time I checked last week there are A LOT of software positions. I hope this helps! That’s bad, such is life sometimes. And that’s just how it is with jobs , no boss is gonna like his employee pointing out what’s wrong. They will take the credit once they decide to take care of the issue. Nothing new under the sun, you guys are young and will learn from this experience. I relate 100% to everything that you said. I have the exact same issue and I know how hard and emotionally draining it can be to go through those depressive episodes constantly. It's okay to take time off until you feel like yourself again. You're the only makeup channel that I watch every single video of, even if I'm not interested in the products.
