I wonder if I ever let you guys in on my private life to this degree. A couple of times in the past, perhaps? Obviously, I left out many, MANY things that we might discuss in the future, but I felt I needed to get some things off my chest and move on to do more with my music, my content, and my community

Thanks for sharing with us. My condolences for the loss of your mother - I cannot imagine. Props for changing your life to be present with your kid - that desire alone tells me you’ll be a great father. I also had a kid during the pandemic, and was fortunate enough to be able to work from home during those first couple years. I believe that time benefited my child greatly, and she in turn helped pull me out of the ‘dark night of the soul’ that I experienced in those early pandemic days. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for you!

Comments like these are purely amazing, reading it brought me so much joy. The album Who Bit the Moon, is one of the greatest masterpieces I to this day have ever heard, (I personally find the “Eco” to be the single greatest album of all time above any artist/genre, you name it). If you haven’t which you probably have; check out 500 seconds before summer on the Eco album, single greatest/favorite tracks of all time. The sheer passion and soul and emotion David has put into his music is ethereal. The talent this man has in one pinky dwarfs everything on this planet, maybe besides Jakub Zytecki haha (but I love there colabs).

David, I'm a mere "John Doe" here from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil... but I was hit hard by your feeling and your love transmitted through your music. In fact, you can transmit to us at home everything that lives in your heart and in your life. This is amazing! You, Jakub and Plini are here in my Top 3 Galaxies. And being followed closely by Sean Angus Watson. Please don't stop! Your music is important, precisely because of so much love involved. Big hug.

Hey David, my son is just over 13 months old and I have those same bursts of anxiety. Beeing a dad made me more confident and killed a lot of my fears but I got a lot of new ones in return. So good to hear from you, its been quite awhile, you've been missed! I'm a dad but it was a long time ago my girls were that little (both grown up & moved out). I remember that feeling, the need to provide and protect which produces the anxiety. Without gettng into detail, that pushed me into a very bad situation, working way to hard, injuring myself, which caused a cascade of problems over the years. I mention this only because of the last thing you said "I can't really do this for fun ". I worked for money, it broke me, I ended up changing jobs many times to compensate, and it took music from me for many years. So many times now I think if I had just chilled a little and did what I loved everything would have been fine and I would be a lot healthier now. My message to you is look after yourself, have the fun, and it will manifest into the best life for your family. Thank you for the update, I wish I knew about the Birthday bomb, I am a forever fan, you are the most beautiful music !

Hi David! Great to hear from you! Listen to all your beautiful music. Nice to hear that you are living (death, birth, marriage, moving to a new house....). I live same situation than you ten years ago, when my third child born, both my parents died and I moved to a new house with three small kids. Sweet and tears, but once time pass you will change for good. So do what your heart tells you: there is no receipt, no plan. Just go ahead with your feelings. Hope living inspires you new beautiful music. Best from Uruguay!

David, brother, thank you so much for sharing your art and your feelings with us. Your music has been with me, as with a lot of us trough very important moments and it means a lot. Your visit to Chile was a dream come true, and an event to be remembered forever. You are very human, and your music brings so many emotions that mirror life itself. Life can be, as you said, a roller coaster. And putting toghether all its ups and downs is hard. I wish you all the best, and for your family as well. Take your time, heal, grow, create, enjoy and live your life. By the way, BILO IV was such a powerful emotional journey that, alongside with changes in my life, it feels like the soundtrack of a new chapter to be lived. Thank you. A hug from Chile!

This is a great video! You truly have nothing to be apologetic for I promise you! It all happened for a reason. That’s life. But from a Papa to a papa. The fear you will have for him will be there forever but as he grows you will also go and learn to trust HIM. All you can do is guide him and teach him and hope HE takes your teachings with him on his life journey. I’m still learning to do these things myself but the best thing from my experience is to tell them, teach them but let them go try an do on their own. That’s the best dad or Papa advice I can give you. AND also LOVE HIM LIKE NOTHING ELSE AND TELL HIM EVERY DAY!!! God Bless! 🙏🏻. Been a fan I think since 2017 I believe. Glad your back! So sorry for your loss. I lost my father-in-law and best friend right before the pandemic in Nov 2019, two days before my daughters second birthday. It was life altering and made the pandemic seem so unimportant to me. Ironically, at that point I was forced to buy and renovate an entire house. Everything you've described is perfectly normal, especially given the circumstances. I'm excited for your new music. Great video and happy you've laid it all out there. Thank you for this video dude. I never really comment on things but just wanted to say I appreciate this so much. The 'anxiety burst' thing I relate to hard. I was fine until maybe five years ago. For me it wasn't the birth of a child but starting a new job with a lot of responsibility. Obviously I can't speak to your experience of life but wanted to let you know that, looking back at it all, I now see that anxiety as a sign of growth. You don't feel ready but, after a while, you grow and develop as a person and the anxiety lessens (I won't say it ever goes away) but you will change into a person to be able to manage the new responsibility, just give it time and enjoy it as much as you can. Good luck bro!

time to tune out completely from media and just create art and music for people to listen to when we are not here anymore. Is hard to ignore everything going on. But yea tune out as much as possible and just create art. Think about Rachmaninov Piano Concert, he went thru some very dark times but still wrote the most beautiful piece of music ever that exists. Is a good thing to read about his life. It might help you, not sure. You will also find great joy in being a father. It will bring much happiness. About touring, with technology ever moving forward, I want to see more concerts and musicians stream events. Not like being a twitch streamer full time, not that. But set up dates for live performances live streamed, the technology is here now. I watched an entire orchestra play video game music last week on twitch, it was amazing, during breaks the conductor answered questions from the chat window. I think you and Plini should collab on something this year.
