I experienced post natal depression because of breast feeding with my first as well and I felt so guilty stopping. Now,though, if I have a second child and I feel those baby blues coming again I will definitely not guilt myself again because I really believe that a happy mum equals a happy baby, breast milk or not. Just an FYI, to my knowledge Ive read that it can be very risky to have babies under 1 years old sleep on their stomachs/side as it can lead to sudden infant death syndrome or crib death!!! Its apparently always best to lay them down on their backs, just an FYI!! Its always best to play it safe right, Allah forbid anything to happen to this precious newborn

Dina!!! Congratulations!!!🎉. Quick tip : You need to tie your tummy with that post pregnancy belt.....its a proven method that shrinks your tummy and helps uterus go back to normal size. It’s something some cultures do traditionally, but its proven medically now

Hey Dina, those ready made aptamil bottles aren’t halal, I used them initially for my daughter until my husband read on their website that it actually says they are not halaal approved, but the powder is fine. Just felt it was my duty as a muslim to inform you :) congratulations on your beautiful baby boy, may Allah always keep you and your family happy and healthy

I just rechecked the website, the 200ml bottles and powder are halal but the 1 litre resealable one isn’t, i think they changed the formulation as the 200ml weren’t halal before... anyways hope this benefits you in some way or the other :)
