Hey I just got a 6 week old male white bellied caique a few days ago I do have a little experience with them being as I used to own 3 of them a few years ago , But I am opened to learning new things and tips form other caique and parrot owners in general, so seeing as you have owned two caiques for awhile any tips would be greatly appreciated...

6 weeks, such a cute age. Wow 3 at once! Were they all good mates? My girls love routine, love training and playing. When they get to around 2 years old I find they go through a hormonal change and hard to introduce new people to them. So I highly encourage to socialize your caique with a lot of different people.

@@scoutthecaiqueparrot9288 Thank you for that tip , for the short number of months I owned those 3 caique's they did get along very well all three shared the same cage and would play together so it was a good experience and I am so sad to this day that I had to give them up because I had to move and couldn't bring them with me, That will never happen again, That being said you will probably see this in one of my other comments but I was wondering at what age do caiques start to get super playful and start hoping and rolling around etc? My 6week old can walk around but he isnt hoping it rolling around yet..

@@Mr.Winter the only difference I am aware of is females hormones, the can be more hormonal during mating season. 😊

She has a little bit of separation anxiety, so she plucks a little bit is I’m away for a period of time. She is slowly recovering 😊
