Life With the Rabaconda Street Bike Tire Changer || 1 Year Review

After living with and using the Rabaconda tire changer for a year, we decided it was time to show you what it can look like once you get used to this tool and it's use. Our tire changes have gone from over an hour to just a few minutes thanks to this tool and a few helpful tips we learned along the way. When we purchased the tool, we filmed a first use review with no tips or tricks or tutorial watching. After that review we collected all the tips we received, watched the tutorial, and performed another tire change. The speed this machine can work at with a well trained operator changes the game in the manual tire changing world. It truly is fast and easy, and you're knees will hurt much less. I enjoyed your videos. I also bought a Rabaconda. It does take a bit of experience to get it figured out but it sure beats working on the floor with a bunch of tire irons. Lol. You did not mention anything about putting the paint dot (Shinko is a red dot) by the tire’s valve stem. Helps with balancing the tire. Look forward to more videos. 👍🏻

I was very skeptical when I first started seeing videos showing the Rabaconda. I think I watched just about every video and read a ton of reviews and feedback on how it performed. I change my own tires mostly because it saves me a whole lot of money but I also actually enjoy doing my own work if I'm able. I finally did invest in one last November when they had their sale(Black Friday?🤔). So far I have only mounted a couple tires. The tire went on the rim so easy I couldn't help but giggle like a kid in a candy store with a pocket full of quarters. The time and effort savings is really unbelievable. The Rabaconda will pay for itself this summer without a doubt. It is more than worth the investment especially if you do more than a few track days and definitely if you're doing any racing. Thanks for that feedback Randy, I agree the rabaconda is quite impressive and makes changing your own tires way less of a chore. The snowboards are on the wall in storage for a few years most likely. Keep them around because I plan to get back to being able to snowboard one day.

@@workingclasscustoms Snowboard season here is almost done. I'm more than ready to change over from riding the board to riding the bike. 😉 .....I will be using my rabaconda to swap a couple tires soon. I have no doubt taking a tire off is going to be ridiculously easier. 😎👊❤🏍🏂

I use the lower position on the top for the bead breaker and leverage is much better.

Looks like a fantastic tire changing tool . Curious if you happen to research or look at the No-mar brand tire changer at all before you ended up deciding to go with the Rabiconda .

@@TRyanLearnBikes thank you! If you take a look at the original video I posted with it, it definitely has a learning curve. But the curve is small and easily navigated leaving you with a very solid tool! Thanks for the comments!
