You are spot on 100% on the front end comp plan and product education issues. I just had my first meeting/intro to company by a director and her associate. Think people get overexcited and they have zero knowledge prior to getting in and thus make missteps in possibly selling products incorrectly and go blitz on recruiting to make higher commissions. Anyhoo…I’m educating myself before I leap. Once I’ve got all the info I need I can make the jump and then run hard and produce. Thanks for your transparent honesty in pros n cons of all. My biggest concern is noncompete and nda. It’s my law and business background. That knowledge gets ya every time.

First of all they do absolutely NOTHING for us in terms of marketing, I signed up months ago and like you said it's been 100% about recruitment, I though maybe I was doing something wrong and just not understanding something maybe I somehow skipped a few steps NOPE I read their "blueprint" forward and backward and its all about recruitment! To begin you need to have a list of 25 people who you can call to recruit, but that's not enough, they all need to be home owners, parents or over 40. Every Monday you sit and cold call your family and friends KNOWING damn well they're not going to be interested to invite them to a recruitment webinar!! It's a whole hot mess I tried to get into it and trust the process but no, the math just isn't mathing.

I quit working for php. After learning how to sell ppl the bill of goods I started looking at how many ppl were NOT paying their police’s. I was not helping ppl, I was hurting them. I roped them into a 12 month policy they couldn’t afford and it doesn’t benefit them unless they meet the criteria. I started following Dave Ramsey and paying for term life insurance 30 bucks a month and the other 120 dollars a month (150 dollars price of the average policy at php) can be used to pay off debt. Your right they hype is the sell. I liked working there and had a lot of fun. It’s not what it seems, from the inside looking out it’s different.

It is because you aren't trained right brother, I could've wished you were at my office. I'm with them right now and there are certain rules you absolutely need to avoid policy cancellation rate. A financial analysis always goes first before any policy. We are life insurance agent first. As fiduciaries we don't put thing that just doesn't make sense.

At the end of the day, you are using "financial literacy" as a way to sell IUL which is 99.9% of the time NOT the right fit for people - especially middle income Americans. PHP agents are NOT fiduciaries.... I would be careful how you throw that term around.

Your content is excellent. I’ve been sharing with my team. When I left WFG to go independent I was able to explode to a multimillion dollar agency because my people started getting paid and being able to transition over full time. Helping the newest person succeed is the best way to build a business and places like WFG and PHP just don’t allow that. P.S. I had an understanding if IUL that 90%+ of agents don’t have and the more I’ve learned of whole life I’ve been definitely leaning more and more towards whole life for people since leaving WFG. But your channel, in particular breaking it down as a “trust me” product, has fully pushed my focus to whole life policies for wealth building. Wish I had started with WL and the liquidity it provides. Definitely would have helped a ton more than my IUL I started with. Although it cost me, good news is, I can share from experience. All about doing right for people.

I later found out it's because they were getting paid off of me if I sold a policy. I have not been able to get in contact with anyone from there probably because I wrote my own policy. They were also not upfront about of the fees that are needed to go into the business which was not a problem because it takes money to make money but that should be a decision I could make before I put any money into it but my question is how would I become an independent contractor and get out of php because my license is being wasted.

The power of zero has a lot of good elements to it. Where it goes wrong is the focus on IUL for the LIRP. IUL'S are bad...stay clear. For someone with a business, I would put it in whole life because you can keep 90% of the money you put in liquid beginning year 1, you get better guarantees, and you'll get 4-5% IRR longer term. And, you have access to that cash value to help your business, invest in flips, give hard money loans, or whatever else you want. Call Jeff on my team if you want to chat about it. Calendly.com/life180/claritycall No pressure either way, but he will give you some No pressure feedback.

These people are really brainwashed and you can see how much they believe in this, of course it’s good. But morally, this is incorrect in my opinion. Patrick is good at this and making something out of this. I see a lot of my people being targeted, very anxious and scared because they don’t have the numbers to go to the next level. Is this a serious question? Of course they can. If you are independent, you can get the largest contract if you are producing volume that would warrant expanding into a new area. @@LIFE180 but can you override 6 generations down. Agents get paid one year in advance, and obviously if the product is not in place all 12 month’s, there will be chargebacks. An agents job from the beginning is to make sure that their clients are fully aware of what they are committing to, and that it is a product that they can afford to maintain in the long run. Cancellations from clients lead to chargebacks when the agent doesn’t handle his/her business properly. Very upset about the front end of this comp plan but I do like the idea of residual income and building teams. I am the kind of person who would give my down line more not less. If I am training or closing their deal I would do 50/50 or every 40/60 and I am getting the less. I want to sell life insurance but I also want a business that can run when I am sleeping. Is there a company out there like that?

If the new recruit’s %age was increased like you suggest, then there is no incentive for the recruiter to push their new recruit to provide their warm market. The recruit would keep their market to themselves until they have gotten licensed. Only then would they sell to their family and friends. And they wouldn’t build a team because they’re already making a decent income. We have a hands on system to train our agents. Not every person is made the same. Maybe they got a bad apple, but I will certainly tell you that my agents and I have been trained well and continue to get better. (Side note: we're not a network marketing company. First my friend let me explain something to you , you stated that someone sent you the video , the video was already uploaded on KZbin for everybody to watch this is not the actual Compensation Plan & if you really think that you're doing a good thing to show people this they can pull this up their self the actual Compensation Plan you won't never find out until the person is actually in the business but we do have a way of weeding out people who's not serious . And we do have ongoing training extensively on how all products works & we do not allow nobody to go out in the field unless they're certified & license & we make sure that they know what they're talkin about when we are dealing with clients retirement plans & everything else for that client . Instead of talking about PHP agency & World Financial Group , want you show your Compensation Plan❗

@@TRTS1 what I have in this is a passion for the industry and what life insurance can do for people when done the right way. I used to be the head of Business Development for your main IUL carrier and I know more about how those products work that anyone in PHP - 8 years ago, I would have been the one training you. But when I realized what the purpose was of the product for the insurance company, I could no longer be associated with it....so I left a pretty high position job on principle. I believe your business model and the products sales tactics will ultimately wind up with massive regulation that will hurt the industry- even the people who do it the right way because regulators lump all perm insurance together... What I found here is you just hate network marketing! Maybe you are right about percentage I’m not sure but you know nothing about network marketing! That’s the price everyone pays for system and help and it’s equal for everyone, if you want to just be an incurance agains good for you at end you are a sell person and you just sell like any other sell person, real estate, car , incurance, whatever! Go sell and get all the money, but if you want to build a business and you want someone and a system help you and be with you no matter in PHP or any other company you share some profits and learn and use the system

I hate network marketing? Hate to tell you this, but I LOVE network marketing. My mentor is a top all-time income earner with Amway and I have a company that consults with MLM's. A little education for ya...life insurance companies are the original MLM's. You don't need to be part of PHP or WFG to build an agency. That's the lie in these companies. Not to mention the product PHP sells is the most miss sold product in the financial industry. I know this because I used to be the Dir of Biz Development for National Life Group... I know a bit about their products.... I am good with sharing profits for mentorship. Starting people off at 30% is criminal. Then splitting those cases WHILE ALSO earning an override is criminal. Forcing people to recruit 3 people before they can get a significant raise in comp is also criminal. Should I continue? You can build a good biz without needing to endure any of that. The greatest need is to have agents be in business 3 years in. This model makes it more difficult than it already is. That's why the PHP failure rate is as high as it is. But that is also why they do the comp the way they do. If you fail, your renewal commission stays and they own it - not you. Learn some more about the industry and me before you come at me with this garbage ;-)

Actually, what he does not show is the criteria for a 50% contract was lowered from 15/15/15 to 10/10/10. Furthermore, Patrick announces discounts for 50% and 60% contracts. I have seen 50% contracts at 5/5/5 (I personally got that one) and 2/2. Furthermore, I saw 60% contracts at 4/4/4 and many took advantage of it. So, if a person seriously want to succeed and make money while helping families, PHP Agency is an outstanding way to do it!!! I am retired USAF, and I am so glad I found this opportunity. I get to help people and put money back into the community. Now, I do agree agents need to learn the products they sell. I also believe the onus is on us to use the resources available to learn them i.e, the carrier, Internet, our trainers and our upline. It is our duty as independent contractors to learn the technical aspect of our professional. A professional understands there is general and specialized knowledge in a profession one must attain to be considered a professional. And it takes time to learn the information. But who is responsible for ensuring we learn it? We the agent!

As a current agent of PHP I can tell you that what you’re saying is false. Not only do I recruit but the company has modules that teach the product, there are 2-3 classes for training every week that teach the products, and there’s this little thing called KZbin that teaches general information on all of these products. It’s extremely misleading to use a video that specifically talks about compensation plan to tell people to explain away a companies system for training their agents.
