Usually if it's really bad I just cry and plead with our Dad God to make it stop. And then I start to read or watch a video on anxiety, or anything really that brings me closer to God and His Promises and helps me calm down. Or I try to fall asleep because it's too much.

I quit an addiction a month ago. I thought I’d be smoking weed until the day I died because it had such a strong grip on me. But one day I felt God moving in my heart and telling me to trust Him. So I got up and flushed it all down the toilet. Then I fell flat on my face and prayed four words Help me Thank you God can only work through us when we finally give Him complete control His ways are higher than ours. I was about your age when I first got addicted. So I spent 20 years being controlled by the need to get high. But then God! He can break through all those chains when we freely give Him our lives, hopes, and dreams Always stand firm in the Lord and you’ll never go wrong friend God bless!

I’ve struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. God has delivered me from my crippling anxiety, it used to be very very hard with panic attacks and depression. I still struggle with anxiety, I am unemployed, with a 3 year old, single mother and living in domestic violence transitional housing, I’m a student and behind on bills, in debt, cars falling apart, but I need to trust God. Not going to lie, I needed this. I get anxious all the time and people normally can't tell. Two years ago I took a leap of faith and at 37 years old started college. This is my 5th semester working towards an engineering degree. Only with God's help have we been able to continue to pay our bills. My wife and I have 3 children, and between both of us working our bills are paid. I started Calculus this semester and took the first test today, I am not sure how I did, but I asked God for a passing grade at least. God bless everyone.

I realized that I have been stressed out over this class and I am trying to rush to the finish line for my degree, so I took on too much this semester. Sometimes God will let you struggle and delay something he has for you to teach you patience and understanding. I have always had some minor anxiety and social anxiety since I was a teenager but what hit me 4 months ago felt like I wouldn't survive and had me telling God I would rather go home with you then feel this feeling anymore. I remember after I had a miscarriage very tramatically and the same night i got dismissed and yelled at by my past babies dad. I was so confused and blindsided... I knew God loved me, but I felt nothing. But I sang in my bed, my pillow was soaked, while my toddler curiously looked at me... I sang praises to God... it is almost a year later, and the Lord has really changed my perspective on life and I love Him even more!

Thank you for this message. I have suffered with generalized anxiety for many, many years. It got really bad in 2014 and the panic attacks began. I have been serving the Lord since 1994. I know every scripture on anxiety and taking my thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, but this was something that was sending me to the hospital. Some sisters in Christ told me not to take meds and to just trust in the Lord. I was suffering even when I slept. I had horrible nightmares and all I did was cry out to the Lord. I finally went to see a doctor and cried. She hugged me and gave me anxiety meds. I only took them when I felt the panic attacks coming. I finally went to see another doctor along with a therapist. I felt GUILTY that God didn't take this away and now I am taking medication daily. Every time I started feeling better, I got off the meds and it started all over again. I am on my meds for good now and still praising God in Heaven, for His grace and mercy. I am glad that Pastor mentioned all of the above. God is great and whether He heals you miraculously or has you on meds, He is still worthy of all praise.

Thanks for sharing. I have facing the same issue. I am on med for years and lately my anxiety was on and off and I am fighting so hard. Thank you so much for this message. I really needed to hear this. Thank you lord for hearing me and sending someone to help me understand and how to be still and wait. I trust he will show me the way. It was such a burden to feel such deep anxiety which doesn't help it just made it worse til! I began having panic attacks. I felt I was sinning because all this was happening to me. I felt I didn't have enough faith in God. I have been a born again Christian since I was 12,born and raise in Christianity, but didn't truly understand till I was 12. So all these things happening made me question my faith in Christ. I felt I wasn't a good Christian. I know different now I needed to stand still and listen. I heard your words on line. Thank you lord for answering my prayers. I needed an answer to work through these battles. I will not be defeated! Anxiety is in my home! Thank you Lord for your healing virtue. Hallelujah! Amen!
