For the Argus 3 Ultra, which mount do I need to buy for ceiling mount? I see the 1/4" screw mounts on Amazon but you said the Argus 3 Ultra is not standard. Thanks for great reviews and information!

Standard 1/4 20 for the Argus 3 Ultra… it is the Argus Eco Ultra that is not standard.

Great review. I like the Argus 3 Ultra better .I have installed about 10 Argus 3 pro, I love them!! The 3 Ultra fall right in line with them.

Reolink and Eufy are pretty good.

does it have rich notification with cloud subscription? I think you can get cloud subscription for free. does it use micro sd card, I think the Eufy has memory built in non-removable but included, though you can also use their propriety home base and put your own HDD in it, or with Reolink it uses their NVR and may work with 3rd party NVR, also it works without internet.

No rich notification and I don’t think it has a cloud recording option at this time anyways.

I never see you did any review on Empiretech camera. But i'm having some issue with freezing skipping on live recording .any idea what could cause that I factory reset it that did not help. Camera is ipc-color4k-x NVR8CH-8P-2AI. Thanks.

The eco ultra mount is flawed and once you unscrew the mid part you cant get it to thread back on.. I would pay the extra 20 bucks to Argus 3 ultra.

Reolink is apparently no better than the rest of these companies. You can get cameras with 24/7 recording, but you can't get rich notifications unless you pay for the cloud plan monthly? At least Eufy gives you rich notifications.

This is a battery powered camera so it doesn’t do 24/7 recordings. As to rich notifications…this has something to do with cloud storage because that it is where the snapshots are stored. Eufy is giving us this feature for free and this is also the reason why they got in trouble a year ago because of not disclosing this to their customers that are pro local storage.
