I am running a full Genius build in my Polaris Slingshot and the sound is amazing. And like you said, the price is more affordable. I am running some of their newer stuff and it sounds amazing… once I can get more air space for my subs… watch out!!!!

The bnc sounds clear an pure mids... The g pro... sounds just as clear but has more tweeter sound an bass etc... I heard g pro play already. An it was 6 inch.. It was loud asf.... I went distances away listening to it. An it was freaking awesome.however Don't count the original out for a copy... Bnc is quality.....

It’s because the Genius is 4ohm and B&C is 8ohm big difference the Genius is probably getting twice the power hense it sounding louder and more excursion =more bass

There is nothing about these that are for a threeway system. Currently running two 8 in arnolds per door and they sound amazing!

It would be a lot easier to hear the quality if a suitable LP and HP filter were used. With breakup removed, it would be a lot easier to listen for stored energy, like sibiliance etc..

@@LIFEINSPEED the thing is that you are encouraging ppl to buy a speaker based on wich could play the most frequency when they are not even made to play like that making dumb cheap ppl buy something that they will burn and then they be talking shit like you got paid for the pronotion eventhough you say you dont but for REAL car/pro audio ppl we know they dont handle all that power for long times..for me this is like if you review a gasoline car and put diesel on it drive it for 2 minutes and then saying ooh you see the manufacturer lie you can use diesel.. but bro it was only a 2 minutes drive.. drive ir for 5 hours and see what happens.. also get a real rms power reading device like the smd multimetter and that way you can see that theres no way a 8hm speaker is going to recieve same amp powers as an 4ohm speaker.. bro there are lots of evidence on this topic and you say o thats bs they recieve the same power wich they dont

What about doing some free air subs. Alot of these newer cars it's more difficult to swap put head units and install a system and come with stock subs and mids etc.., so some of us that replace just the speakers need some reviews

I believe that with a certain capacitor you can bring down the eight ohm speaker to a 4 ohm speaker

No, you can do it with a resistor but you will need a resistor rated for the power. The power will be split between the driver and the resistor so if you send 100w, the driver will have 50 and the resistor will have 50. It's more economical and efficient to just use a second driver in parallel.

Hey Mike can you test out some marine speakers for us motorcycle guys. Would like to see prv 6mr500cf ndy4, 8mr500cf ndy4, vs diamond audio mp84, hxm8, hxm65, mp654 also could you test out prv 8FR250 6fr200 against comparable diamond audio speakers. Been looking at the prv 8fr250 even tho it's not marine/power sports quality. The specs on it look good to get some of the lows a little better but can't always believe in the written specs.

@@LIFEINSPEED I know. That why I bought them. But my new 2020 version of the XTR 6.5 neos are already rattling. My 10 inch XTR XPM1054MBF are doing great, but they were manufactured in 2018. Idk what happened Mike, but after the president placed tariffs on Chinese products, Orion ran out of everything. Then they got some recones and these new neos, and I bought them. The 4 recones I bought do not work. The spiders stick and it causes the sub to not flex with good linear motion. Plus they doubled their prices. The neos I bought are rattling. So I switched to Fi subwoofers. I'm going to switch my 6.5s too. Idk what happened, but it seems like Orion switched build houses or something. There's a reason why all the new stuff I bought isn't right. I'm not a master technician, but from my videos one can see I know enough to install my equipment. I'm fairly certain I installed everything correctly. I didn't have any problems with my other equipment that I upgraded from.
