Processing firewood can be hard work, many don't know what is involved when it comes to firewood. And digging that foundation by hand was very imperative. Now let's hope it don't rain and set you back. I love your channel. You guys be safe out there, don't know how far it is to town in case you had an emergency. Hugo is a great dog, he is your best friend and keeps an eye out for anything around you.

I think the "no talking" style was made popular by the "Primitive Technology" KZbin channel. In that case, the guy making this kind of video did everything alone and didn't like talking to a camera, so it became a trademark of sorts. And now KZbinrs producing similar content are emulating this style. It also has the benefit of overcoming language barriers.
