In the end we found cooking the pizza for 15 minutes on the lowest gas setting gave a perfect result for our taste. The pizza dough is cooked, soft on the top with a light crisp to the base. No more Sainsbury pizzas for us unless we have no choice of course 😏. Carol told me I was wrong about how long it was left to prove, it was 30 minutes not 15 🙂 Forgot to explain why large rings of pepperoni are a mistake. When you bite them the whole ring slides off the pizza. Diced would be easier to eat. 👍

I so love your videos. They are full of ordinary doable adventures, which makes be believe that campervanning isn't beyond our reach. Keep up the good work guys. I'm getting caught up on your past adventures in between watching your Ireland adventures.

Once you have a van it opens up day trips like these all over the place. It is your little shelter to cook, sit and read and just people watch. Its so different to visiting in a car as you can have privacy as well if you need it. Similar experience to a beach hut I guess except it can be moved.

As a big time pizza makers ourselves loved the simplicity and quickness of prepping the dough, none of the hundreds of details that KZbinrS do when they prep dough can’t find a ridge monkey here in California very jealous.

You may find something similar in a shop that sells angling supplies as they are also used a lot in the UK when fishing 🙂

Fantastic drone shots looked quite close to the sea!! Pizza had a nice crispy base. Didn't know you could get grated 4 cheese in a pack :)

Another great tip for pre-preparing camp food. When we are eventually allowed out again we will be packing ready made pizza bases. Thank you :)

That bag made 7 pizza bases. We froze 4 and took 4 with us but one each was plenty for lunch. We had the other two later when we got home. Carol said by that time they had become quite tacky so she squeezed them into a ball and with a bit more flour just rolled them out again. Worked great. 👍

Really cool footage along those massive Cliff walls. The inclusion of people really brought home the scale. I take it they are from your new drone?
@LifeistooshortCK4 жыл бұрын
Yes they are. Still getting used to it and on the way back it had a bit of a hissy fit and suddenly started drifting. Spooked me a bit and I was glad I knew what to do. I tested it in a field yesterday but it behaved as normal. Its a mystery.

@@LifeistooshortCK - I have been having trouble with my trackpad on my Mac and was doing some trouble shooting research today. Moisture apparently are nearly always responsible for wacky behavior of electronics.

Great drone shots as always. Did you use spray oil in RM before adding the pizza?
