i'm dying from cancer, and before this I just sat at my computer and cried watching videos like this... But now, my time is short, and I'm going to get up, step out of my apartment, and help these people who deserve to live! It should not take cancer for us to get moving!

You're one of the few reactors that actually understand the importance of Lowkey's music, and not just simply comment on how depressing this song is. Subbed. You mentioned in the Terrorist reaction that none of the larger reactors have done it before. They are after content that will increase their views/ranking in the algorithm, so anything remotely controvertial is going to be avoided like the plague. In my experience reactors only stay with Lowkey while their channels are relatively small. Perfect example is No Life Shaq. I've watched his channel since he had under 2k subs. He reacted to Lowkey back then. Not any more. People will say it's because UK songs get claimed, but they fail to also tell you UK songs that get claimed are from artists that are signed to a label. So basically like any other US artist. Eminem songs get hit with claims the most, but reactors still keep on jumping on his songs because they know their views/subs go up. Anyway, didn't mean to go on for so long.

I feel you and appreciate the support (Welcome to the LOP Fam), and honestly its a shame because controversial or not we are here for the bars, the talent, and the content, views and subs should be regard as a by-product rather than the only focus! But on that note, youtube has actually already taken down my reaction to "terrorist"... not surprising tbh
@hmddesigns14334 жыл бұрын
@@LifeOfPanos Terrorist was always going to get taken down because yt censors anything they deem as inciting hate. Clearly, the song does nothing of the sort, but that is irrelevant. As you said, bars are bars, and Lowkey is one the best lyricists out here in the UK.

4:48. Child laid dead on the beach. One of many, but the childs name is Alan Kurdi. Separated from his parents on a dodgy dinghy, whilst fleeing the war in Syria. 3 year old that drowned at sea. Since that image, I give my children an extra squeeze when I come home from work, especially when my son turned 3 a few weeks ago. Unimaginable what the people who have fled have witnessed. Never mind losing family on the way to a safe country
