I see a huge difference in Barbie from her stay at Twisted Teer. She is much more respectful and not as "touchy" on her sides & butt, yet willingly walks to you, she is not as fearful. Tigger is a handsome older guy. My opinion older horses are great, most have been there done that

Hey Bri I like your timeout break cause Barbie & Tigger are so beautiful it would be hard for me between yours & Jami's horses I would have to split the day half with yours & the other half with Jami's I sure wouldn't get any work done. Got to say you're working with them very well. Just about time to saddle up & have a little ride. I think one day it would be nice to see a girls riding day with all the horses but I don't think Tigger & Voodoo would like it & then you got Rita to put in the picture oh boy.GB y'all stay safe & take care. Your friend Larry 😊

Get one of those metal human hair picks combs and use it to clean the horse brush. That will make it easier to keep the brush clean of house hair while brushing and they are thin enough to fit in your pocket.

@@Sammie-Lou-Miss-UK Also I was trained to ride since I was 5 and we girls went every other Saturday, well into our teens. The Instructor made us learn anatomy first lol. Here we were ready to ride and we are sitting in front of a chart and he is pointing to the different parts of the horse .. making us learn and say those names. Then we practiced learning to lynch and mount a saddle on a wooden horse. Then we had to meet our horse and spend time brushing them with brush and curry comb. And finally we were allowed to ride. With someone leading us.. it was so slow and frustrating to wait to finally get your horse and ride . It was good for us . The Horse was trained so we needed to be. I've been bit, stepped on, thrown off and every time it was my fault. Although one time my horse turned and bit my leg for apparently no reason lol. Horses are amazing. I can no longer ride two times with cancer put me in a wheelchair. But I love watching Bri and Jami and they are doing things right. But always safety first.
@Sammie-Lou-Miss-UK6 ай бұрын
@@birdie58 we have a lot in common… I lived out in the sticks (the middle of nowhere) n my neighbour has horses n a riding school… I started riding on my 6th birthday n cause we knew the neighbours really well I was able to go riding as often as I wanted for free… at 13 yrs old I was there everyday after school n spend hours there on a sat n Sunday… I also did my 2 wk work experience there n after those 2 wks I started to assist in the lessons n wit the horses that were boarded there… At 16 I moved out of my family house n moved 300miles away…. I took 18 months off riding (I missed it so much) to have my daughter/find a place to live n settle in but soon went bac (for 18 months until I fell pregnant wit my son) once a month or every 2 wks if I was extremely lucky enough to have time off work someone to look after my daughter n the spare penny’s… unfortunately after having my son my health n disabilities became worse extremely fast so I couldn’t go back horse riding or bac to work (I’m a wheelchair user n I’m on a lot of strong medications so it wouldn’t have been safe for me to drive or to go bac to teaching) after having my son… I’ve also had cervical cancer myself 4 times… I was extremely lucky to have got through the last diagnosis (I was told I had to prepare for the worst as there was nothing that they could do this time…) but I fought so hard to have a hysterectomy n was willing to take the chance (I was told there was a 75% chance that I wouldn’t pull through) for the last time as I had always said that if I did beat the odds I’d never have anymore testing done… I didn’t want to continue to b poked n prodded or have to face the same rollercoaster again… I wouldn’t be able to cope with it… Sending huge hugs ur way xxxxx
