As a builder, when someone else does something wrong, im pretty chill. When i mess up, im really hard on myself, just like you😂.I now use a scale of one to ten on how bad things really are to see if im blowing things out of proportion. Below five is irrelevant .Ten is dead

The 'cut outs', when cleaned and routed, make nice cutting boards. You can even route a groove around the edge to catch liquids before they run onto the counter top. The Corian shop behind us was throwing out all the sink cut outs, so I took them and made a dozen cutting boards for friends. As long as you don't drop them, they last indefinitely and can be re-polished when scratched... Also handy for placing hot pots or trays of food directly on the serving table...

If you only lost it once in all the years you may qualify for a sainthood. Carry on.

I may have lost it a couple of times, maybe a few more, felt like every day was a bit of a battle towards this part of the build.Rossco

Regarding the incident with the counter top for the lav? I ain’t forgot your OG motto for the channel, you’re allowed to vent every now and again. Still marching toward the water. Looking awesome! Stay safe Rossco and Janet! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁!!

Looking forward to the day you're sitting on the back deck with a cold drink in your hand. You both deserve a nice long vacation on board when you're done. The closer you get the more pressure you put on yourself. Hopefully with the lag in uploading you are already at that point. Hope you and Janet have wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year!

What a mess though dust was pervasive but the tenting Janet set up helped to contain it.

just a thought but you should have a look at fastmount panel mounting fasteners for your removable trim and headliners.

Awesome, did you happen to hold on to the sink cutout? You could cut a cover for the stove or half the sink, to give you extra bench space.

Probably too late by now but i think i'd have used rare earth magnets to hold those trim pieces over the saloon doors

I’m not overboard on safety sometimes, but silica dust is no joke. No recovery….we’re talking lung transplant…. So respirator is MANDATORY. Love that you’re THIS close. Can’t wait to see the next part….you and Janice and family enjoying the fruits of your labor.

Totally agree, it is herendous stuff. The evostone we used is guaranteed silica free but who knows what else is in it.Glad it is over and the clean up was ongoing for days.Ross

My wife had the misfortune of having to listen to me lose it ,but after thinking about how I sounded the disrespect I showed her by using the filthy language and literally acting like a crazy man I tucked in my pride begged her to forgive me and I sat down with a good friend that I really respected who was a lot like I was when he was younger. He told me that I really needed help that I couldn't continue acting like I did when I'd lose my temper ,that I actually scared my wife and when he said that it devastated me to think my sweet wife could be afraid of me when I would lose it. I'm not going to preach to you Ross but that night I got on my knees and asked God to help me to control my temper and my mouth. That was 15 years ago and I still get mad once In awhile but I've never acted like I did again. Some times we just need to ask and you may be surprised what happens if you are sincere about changing. I wish you all the best and we all make mistakes ,its what we do about it after we realize how it effects the people we love that defines if you love them enough to ask for help and change. God bless you and you are a good man.
