I just purchased the c63 amg in white, I was debating between getting a E92 m3 saloon or the C63 amg but I gotta say I don't regret buying this car! its an amazing car...that exhaust note just blew me away!...I've to say Ive been driving mine around city and little journeys and its ok on fuel, its not a thirsty as i thought it would be. But, I do drive like a granny as majority of the times I have the kids in the car. When I do have chance I love putting the setting to M mode on the motorway and love the noise and sheer power of this car!

johnny g 20mpg on a 20mile run to work every morning, 25mpg on a 120mile run a few weeks back, 9mpg on a 8mile run to the shops last weekend!!!

+David Hardy, thanks for the info. 20mpg isn't too bad but 9mpg damn that would break my heart lol. I've got a 3series, used to do 43mpg on highway but since moving into the city, & doing small journeys in traffic it's 26mpg.

Agreed on the fuel issue. It's actually not as bad as expected. However I do find that the sound that comes out of these things is constantly poking at you to give it a boot full and that's my greatest weakness which sees me getting a return of around 23k-100L!!!! It's a hard car to drive sedately, not because it won't do it, on the contrary, more so because of the fact it's hard to wipe the smile off your dial when you engage in what essentially it was built for - SHEER LUNACY!!!!!!! I've had mine for around 6 months and the greatest part of my day is still walking to the garage in the morning and it just doesn't seem to get old.

johnny g sorry for the late reply...what the guys said before is correct in terms of miles per gallon. But, to be honest I don't ever bother looking at it as I just have the display in my dash showing me either the radio tuner or navigation...the car is thirsty but if your used to driving such a economical car then driving the c63 will hurt your pocket..one thing i noticed today and that I SO love much about this car is when I'm travelling on the motorway and I change the setting to S (sport mode) the revs get higher, throttle response is sharper and that exhaust gets even LOUDER!....if you can afford one then definitely buy one as it won't disappoint....mine is currently a 2012 model going to keep it till 2016 and hope to trade it in for a 2014 model C63 507, that car looks amazing!

Well after 2 years I've sold that car and had to change to a Audi Q7 as we had another child and needed more seats. But, we are now in the process of buying a second car which will be a c63. We are trying to find a 507 edition in white and saloon but not many around....I kept mine for a year and loved it and would of kept it longer but had to get a bigger car. The next one will be a keeper for a while as I plan to work hard and buy a g63 amg

2:42 lol, this "annoying feature" may save your live. It is measuring you when it pulls back, so that the car knows "where" u sit and how long the belt should be locked in case if a crash

I am and will always be a AMG wagon guy. Have the badges fall off and put on a C230 or E350 bluetec. Just to mess with people. Test drove a E63 wagon and still brings a BIG smile to my face! E63tt wagon C63 507 wagon SLS roadster

Nice vid, you can turn the seat belt choker off in the setting, I have the C63 PPP (see my vids) and the subtle styling tweaks do make the difference to the look. In the winter bang on a set of snow tyres and it is no issue with the white stuff. Cheers!

Great review, you have a new subscriber! I have never owned an AMG car, but have always had a soft spot for them. The W211 E55 ranks up there among my favorites, though these C63s seem like a bargain nowadays. Perhaps I will pick one of these up in the next year or so.

You can turn off the seat belt retractor function through the steering wheel menu controls, just as you can change many things there. You really should look into this before you judge something as a negative
