This thing is awesome. I have to look into investing in this for my preps. If it comes with more filters it may be worth the price. with this thing you can have 7.2gallons of water a day over a year which in ration and survival mode can be good for 7-9people, but if you're in thrive mode its only going to be good for 2-4people. Not to bad to have as a prep. Keep up the good vids brother. i look forward to the next one :) I always have the sawyer mini on hand when I'm in the woods and a pack of them back at home as well as life straws

This can looks and sounds like a good product to own. Price sounds like a lot but if a situation happened and you have this to use, it would be worth a lot more. Thanks for sharing. Tony

Tony Patey on par with other good filters that do viruses.

Thank you! How does the water taste after filtered? I was gonna buy a water filtration for the home but also needed one for travel. Should I buy something separate for every day home use so that lady don't give me a face, or do you think this would work well for both scenarios

Ive just had delivery of mine can't wait to use it. quick question, until I use it do I have to do anything with it now or can I store it as it turned up (in box) until I need to use ? cheers for the vid :)

You can leave it until you’re ready to use it.

Very nice product, but pricey for sure. I have a Sawyer Point Zero Two and a bucket for around half the price and way more capacity. Plus I can store stuff in the bucket until I use it. But if I had a rack and needed to carry a water can, that would be a super option. Looks durable!

Natural Prepper except your sawyer won’t filter viruses.

@@livingsurvival The Point Zero Two does. "With its 0.02 micron absolution filtration, the Point ZeroTwo goes one step beyond Sawyer’s MINI and Point ONE filters to remove 99.997% of viruses in addition to 99.99999% of bacteria, 99.9999% of protozoa/cysts, and 100% of microplastics."

I have two Jerrycans - one in the truck, another in the closet. It's basically a portable, sealed Berkey water filter-purifier. Be careful how you store it during the shoulder season. Read the mile-long instructions :)

The filter looks like a serious filter in New York last month we had E. coli in the water and a boil water warning was in effect.

How about viruses? I was viewing a video saying there is no system that can stop viruses.

There are several filters that can handle virus’. MSR Guardian, Grayl Bottle ...

Just a fact check. Unless we literally have a zombie apocalypse viruses aren't an issue in North America water sources. Even if that comes, boiling water kills viruses quite effectively. Virus filters, in our AO, are Overkill as heck, especially at that price point. I'll leave it at that

@@livingsurvival in NA where does one need to filter water born viruses. Just saying if you are in the 50 or Canada, that is Overkill and so looking for a $$$ justification.

@Clorox Bleach I get that my fiance lived in Tanzania. I just think that when you're reviewing specific products you should point stuff like that out if you're not going to be in a place where there are no viruses in the water then you don't need to spend the extra money on a system that will address viruses.
