We suggest regular cleaning of your Liberty™, as this will ensure you are getting the best performance from your product. Cleaning should restore flow rate and help prevent your Ultrafiltration Cartridge blocking up prematurely.

Mind after used, the bottle screw is stuck and too tight for my hands to turn open. Now its unusable😡

Hello, how to clean it on the field ? Is there a easy backflush or so ? I'm going to use it mostly for reasobably clear water but what if the water is really muddy ? Thanks

Where possible, attempt to pre-filter muddy water, as while you can still get some safe drinking water from this source, you would be in danger of severely shortening the lifespan of your filter, by clogging it up. In the field, you can remove the base, half fill with relatively clean water, put the base back on and shake, using the water to loosen any mud etc then empty back out from the base, repeat as required.
