Lifesavers: Part of the Team with the Ford Transit Red Cross Ambulance

One of the many challenges faced by the Bavarian Red Cross, Germany, is urgently getting to people in need along mountain roads and forest tracks. Helping them to reach patients and safely take them to be cared for is a tough, manoeuvrable Ford Transit ambulance.

Naja, Einsatzgebiete wo das BRK mitm KTW auf Berg- und Forstwegen fahren muss, die sind doch etwas rar ... klar gibt es die sicherlich, aber in den meisten Gegenden muss der KTW nichtmal auf nen Schotterweg und die haben nicht wirklich einen neuen Transit mit manueller Schaltung?

Normalerweise haben nur die Allrad KTWs Handschaltung. Die Vorderrad KTWs haben ein Automatikgetriebe meines Wissens

@@EnjoyFirefighting aufgrund der ganzen Berge und Skigebiete in den Chiemgauer Alpen nutzt unser Rettungsdienst BEWUSST Allrad, egal ob RTW oder KTW. So ist gewährleistet dass jedes Fahrzeug zu jeder Zeit, Sommer wie Winter, Einsätze bewältigen kann. Klar gibt's noch den einen oder anderen ohne Allrad, aber speziell dieser ist unser neuestes Modell, eben mit Allrad.

@@rescuemike9473 hinsichtlich der RTW war es mir bewusst, bei den KTW wusste ich jedoch nicht, dass es dort auch ne Allradvariante von gibt
