I always keep a fire extinguisher 🧯 on board. Also a can of Fix-A-Flat for tire repair/punctures, 2 vehicle Tow Straps (incase one breaks), 2 Roadside Emergency flashing warning ⚠️ lights, a Hunter's style First Aid Kit, a full size Shovel with a collapsible handle, a Boi Fuel stove and wood chunks for it w/ an additional Trangia Burner included. An umbrella 🌂 and Nylon Tarp as an emergency shelter w/tied outs, a HELP Sign. 2 INEXPENSIVE Walkie-talkies, a Weather Radio. I know, a lot of Safety extras but I'm a former Police Dispatcher and I know first hand the dangers of not having these items ALWAYS on-board along with some form of Self Defense device or devices.

@LifewithMaiOfficial Thank you. I'm so pleased that you liked them. Yes, vehicle safety items are very often overlooked when buying items for the inside of the vehicle is the main focuses. Also add to your list a Solar powered portable light, one that is collapsible is extremely convenient and lightweight for walking with it.

I have a small fire extinguisher and a fire blanket too. In my door pockets I keep a flashlight and wasp spray which can be used for security as it flies 20 foot if someone is bothering you. I keep two mini m&m containers that hold over 20$ in quarters each one for emergency needs. No one would think it was money plus if you need to do laundry you have cash ready. So always have access to 40$ in quarters, but looks like candy instead. I also keep at least two loaded up phone rechargers. This was a great show today.

Beautiful country! I have just found you in Nov., I don't know how old the videos are, but I am enjoying them all. My van has way too much stuff in it. I live for months at a time in mine. Mine is a no build except for the bed my children made for me. They wanted me to have a nice place to sleep. That is my most important thing in my van to me. I have changed it up many times. I like that I can learn as I travel what works best for me. My home base in is in Indiana. We get snow. It is not my favorite, so I head for warm places in the winter. Sometimes the weather ticks me and I wake up to snow in the southwest, so I have coats gloves and boots to drag out when needed.
