Nothing worked for me until I saw that CLOCK. I can now BOWL. That clock was a light bulb that went off for me the moment I saw it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I use to throw the ball 13.5 mph with too much revs causing it to go left every time. I tried coming directly up the back and was decent at it. It increased my ball speed but the ball would go into the roll early and have no energy for the backend. There was no room for error. Then I tried turning my hand to the side, almost extreme and now my ball is around 16 mph with a lot of axis rotation. It glides through the front easily while retaining a lot of energy for the backend. This is been revolutionary for me. The ball never goes left on me and the pins explode now

I haven't bowled since I was 10. I'm 49 now. I'm trying to relearn bowling. I really appreciate this video. I was having exactly this problem where I wasn't getting the ball to come back when I threw it from left to right down late. Can't wait to get to the alley and try out some new stuff. Hopefully not messing up my wrist in the process

watched this video in 2020 watched again in 2022 made a huge difference in my game still need more practice to get out of the ball at the line instead of lofting but made me a better bowler thank you

Very well explained and demonstrated JR. Amazing how that ball tears to the left when you get your hand around it. The hard part now is learning how to replicate that release. I have always had trouble playing the inside line because I have more of a 12 o'clock thumb position. I'll have to practice what you demoed here and see how it works.

great info.. I've struggled in the last year. I'm very interested in getting my (original) side roll back Ive somehow created a habit of being in the back of the ball instead getting around. This video gets me closer. So I can get back to the SASBA tour to compete better. Sincerely Thank You !

I need to practice. I really have an issue with being consistent on hooking the ball.

Jr, I'm a beginner bowler. Would you please explain in the most rudimentary form on how to curve a house ball. I've watched most of your videos on how to curve or hook the ball. It just isn't happening for me. Thank you

What about the boards or arrows you were looking at to create that angle with the release

If you throw the bowl like that will it hurt your thumb when you release the bowl to curve it or no

Where are you aiming the ball at, it look like it going between 15 and 10 arrow.
@berserkdragon762 жыл бұрын
Welp!!! Some people will say that is spinning the ball cuz that's what I've been doing after quitting 23 years ago due to injury. As long as you don't chicken wing, it's not spinning lol

Thanks J.R. for this tip. Playing the inside has always been a struggle for me. One quick question. If I keep my hand tilted throughout the swing and release, can I achieve the ball motion that you achieved in your last shot? Lastly, I created a duplicate of the Styrofoam bowling ball you made and it works great while we all are on lock-down. I enjoy your videos!

whats the difference between "release at 10 or 9 clock" and "suitcase release" (which is consider as weaker) in your previous video.. still cant get it.
@kevinscarborough99824 жыл бұрын
The difference is the amount of revs.
@fakri034 жыл бұрын
i know about the rev.. but many coach said dont get around the ball instead through the ball.. thats what i dont understand, bcos if u want to do a side release have to get around the ball right?
