I love that new tundra so much that I went out and bought a 2024 limited 4x4 that came with TRD 3inch lift from the factory and I will say this it is a BEAST of a truck , absolutely my fav truck I’ve owned in 28 years !

I’m in NJ. I remember studded snow tires. We used to have them here in the ‘70’s when we had lots of snow. Now we don’t get much if any snow and when we do it’s gone in 1 day so, no more studded snow tires allowed here. But they were great in snow and ice. Good stopping power too.

greetings and happy new year 2025 from the province of Pontassieve, Florence, do you use m+s snowflake tires in the snow with your 4x4 off-road vehicles or do you also have snow chains and m+s thermal tires (I have a 4x4 Suzuki Jimny 4x4 off-road vehicle with m13a petrol engine 1.3 LT from year 2001 which i usually use to go to outdoors and in the woods on forest tracks and dirt roads farm tires and now I fitted it with 4 retreaded ziarelli mud power m+s knobby snow flake tires in size 205-70-15!

The turbo chargers don’t care what grade of gas you use!! They don’t come in contact with the fuel. You understand that don’t you? Only reason you buy premium high octane gas is for a more powerful, cleaner burn. That happens inside the cylinders not inside the turbocharger!
@CragScrambler4 күн бұрын
Actually using an higher octane fuel will make for more powerful and efficient combustion and will spin up the turbo more efficiently and prevent knock (ucontrolled unburnt fuel which can end up in the exhaust and thus effect the turbo efficiency) , so while no fuel comes into contact with the turbo apart from unburnt stuff, better combustion will make an turbo perform better and conversely the whole engine will produce more power more efficiently. So yes turbochargers absolutely do care which type of fuel you burn.

You need way, way, better headlights and supplemental lighting. And who sold you those idiot yellow light? Did they tell you that yellow driving lights penetrate fog better? That’s total BS! They saw you coming. You need bright white LED’s on the front for drives like that. And get rid of the idiot yellow lights! They look foolish to people who know better.
@alaskaoverlander5 күн бұрын
Driving in snow you want yellow light to cover distance and reduce reflection. White lights in snow or ice not the best option. Also we have 30 inch spot/drive combo paired with LP6 ditch lights. Perfect combo paired with led headlights for distance as well as spotting moose on the sides of the road. Kodiak is more than kitted up with lighting by those who drive, kit and support Alaskan road conditions.
