hi guys!! I’m so excited to share this vlog in Barcelona!! it’s a couple days/week in my life living abroad in Spain and just having fun and starting a new routine! it's about to get SO insane for my move-in vlogs! here's a hint: the apartment I was supposed to move into was supeeerrr sketchy so I had to apartment hunt for a new place (but the good news is I found one!!)

Hi!, welcome to bcn, if you want a piece of advice dont buy in Paseo de Gracia is so expensive and exclusive for foreign people, tourist. Go to your close neighbourhood in a small fruit shop, it would be fresh, nice and tasteful and really , really cheape)

Núria FG Yo vivo en EEUU y probablemente este más que acostumbrada a pagar lo que paga x esa fruta, xq aquí en EEUU son precios semejantes en los supermercados más corrientes y nada exclusivos. Ya le va bien a barcelona que hayan personas q se gasten el dinero en esas tiendas más caras, y más en un momento como este. Señores, no desvelemos todos nuestros secretos ;)

I just recently found your channel and I’m enjoying your Spain content! I studied abroad in Spain and think back often to all the amazing food I ate while living there. Lol. You may already know about this but I try to tell anyone I can about menú del día! It’s the weekday lunch specials offered at local restaurants. You get a first course, second course, dessert, drink, and bread for about 15€. There are usually 3-4 options to choose from per course and the meal is substantial. Just look for the handwritten chalkboard signs outside the restaurants and try to find places full of locals rather than tourists because then you know the food is good. I miss eating such high quality food for such reasonable prices. Enjoy Barcelona!

Oh mans I miss Barcelona so much! Did my exchange studies there, best 6 months ever. If you get a chance do try Qiumet y qiumet! It’s a tapas bar, if you eat raw fish, the smoked salmon greek yoghurt and truffle honey tapas is the most mouth watering and yummy snack I’ve ever tried! Have fun in Barcelona! Enjoy the sun and beach!!

You should check out the tapas restaurant in el nacional just of passeig de gracia! The waiters walk around with different tapas on a big platter and you just take whatever you want like in a dim sum restaurant. It's super fun and worth the wait!

Madrid is perfect if you are living some months in Spain. Madrid is open day and night, not like Barcelona (watch Paseo de Gracia at 22;00 and compare it with Gran Vía in Madrid at the same time), and the people is far much open and friendly in Madrid than in Barcelona. But, ok, its a topic to visit Barcelona and think that it is the most representative city of Spain (whicn is absolutely false)

it’s not his Spanish name. it’s the German pronunciation of his name, which (since he’s German) is his actual name. the “normal way” I used to say in videos is the English pronunciation, which is not what he actually goes by in real life. I just used to say it because I speak English in my videos but since that’s not what I say in real life, I now just say his actual name.
