I love that Jeff does not interrupt Jonny. He is perfect silence when Jonny is speaking. Such a gift this is.

The "I just want to go home"... these have been the words that come out of my mouth when I am in the depths of pain or struggle or despair. Even when I am "home". I remember saying it as a kid in my childhood home, not understanding why I way saying this. The last year since understanding exactly what you're speaking about Jeff, I've understood exactly what I meant :) Thank you for this extra validation!

For me it happen on Publix a super market waiting for some deli meat. Just happened all I could describe was I was seeing thru the soul I am. It was me really seeing thru all the blinders. My reiki master told me I had an awaken but u are right it was remembering who I was . My life has never been the same. I see paradise in the mist of all chaos . I am so grateful every day. 💜

When I hear Jeff explain his search as basically this yearning to "go home", it really hits me in the feels. This is how I feel. I had a good childhood. But since growing up I've always felt somewhat adrift. Always feeling like true peace and happiness is not meant for me. I've felt periods of it, usually in the beginning of new relationships. But sadly that doesn't last. I just want to go home 😢 I hope I will get "there" eventually.

Simply speaking, as Nagarjuna put it, Samsara is Nirvana and vice versa. This is IT. Not some mystical powerful blissful state although it's part of the package. Before and after enlightenment, chop wood carry water. This ordinariness, this world with its "imperfections" is IT. Problem is, orthodox religious teachings taught us to escape samsara and seek some kind of nirvanic mokshic escape into some paradise. Ironically, in trying to escape, we learn it's futility and realize it has always been HERE and NOW. Tantric Buddhism taught it's the unity of nirvana and samsara.

Thank You for bringing more _light_ into all this. . . I encourage you to dig in the work of the holistic psychiatrist K. Brogan MD very much in your line, at least as far as so-called 'mental illness' is concerned. _Own your self_ or else her previous work _A Mind of you Own_ just in case you didn't know about it, or else check out in her Blog _Spiritual Bypass_ . At the end, Truth is all very much in the same line. . . ✌️✨✨

Around minute 48. It is simply not true. This is true for 99,99% of people, including people like you with great insight and dissolution. But, in the case of Ramana Maharshi, Gautama, Mooji, Swami Sarvapriyananda.. they aren't going around living with doubts, fears, anger and so on. The human emotions may come up, but fully felt through, without even "trying to", they dissolve. It doesn't last, there is no clinging, there is "no one" being angry or fearful. Just fear or anger arising and subsiding.
