Yes! I think the performance you watched was in England, in front of a polite British audience that sat quietly listening to the song. It was also prior to the famous concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in August of 1972, where he solidified his reputation as a dynamic performer. One music critic said he had never seen Neil perform with such confidence. It was a game changer for him as a performer and for his career. The iconic live double album “Hot August Night” finished up with “Soolaimon/Brother Love’s Travelling Salvation Show”. The audience was pumped, Neil was pumped, and his performance made the one you just watched seem tame.

This was Neils heyday and a few yrs earlier. This is definitely a good song. He had many very good songs. Cherry Cherry, You got to Me, Red Red Wine, Solitary Man, Holly Holy. Sadly I believe he has Parkinson's like Linda Ronstat and gave up singing. I know Linda definitely maybe Neil also
