Well, here in Uruguay it's best to just ignore the dogs. They won't do anything so long as you ignore them.

Congratulations, Your spanish is excellent. I really love your accent and your humbleness. Your R sound is awesome, usually americans fail on that sound, but your pronunciation is flawless. By the way the LL or Y sound is called "Yeísmo", and you sound like an uruguayan when you use it. Thank you!

what a great video this is! you really understood and felt Uruguayan culture and traditions! you're really smart! I really enjoyed your video, greeting from an Uruguayo living in the US for 18 years! abrazo grande!

Always puts a smile on my face to see people enjoying our small, beautiful country. Fantastic that you speak your Spanish really well and sound just as a Uruguayan! Be proud of that! 👌😜 Sorry to hear about your problem with that dog. Best thing to do is to ignore them, as they can react defensively if you face them and make noises.

Great video, you really got the essence of us uruguayans! Humble corrections, the way of life and habits are VERY diferent when you compare the capital Montevideo (where half of the population are) and the "interior" (basically rest of the country). Here in the capital we dont take naps, nobody has or eats animals like carpinchos, a lot of people drink mate but not during the hole day rather then morning/afternoon, the almacenes are more tipicall in the interior, and apart of the food you mensioned we eat a lot of salads and tartas. Thanks for the video, and great uruguayan accent!!

Only thing I'm going to correct, 10:41, most people only share mate with their inner circles. Lenteja and milanesas. Have my like. Great spanish!

I love this!! so right in most of his statements, because no everybody take "siesta",and I don't think lunch is our biggest meal of the day...and just FYI there are other countries that also have milk and cereal in bags and in Uruguay you can find cereal in boxes as well.Anyways thank you for this, and come back again!! your Spanish is so good.
