Great mod for this crane. I was about ready to go with a basic hoist, that could barely handle the 300lb I need it too, but I think this will work much better.

I just wanted to say I love it. I will be building one as well since I picked up the crane. Let me know if you still have the measurements for the square tube. Thanks for making this it's a lot cheaper than the options I have seen. It's great if you have a hitch receiver so you don't have to modify your truck from its factory state (resale).

Sorry I don't have the measurements. I don't even have the lift anymore. My cousin needed it so I gave it to him. Sorry. I hope yours turns out good. PS don't forget to gusset the corners. It'll make it a lot stronger.
