Great breakdown on the new limb shift system. Glad to see it on the new bows.

I finally upgraded to the Lift this July. This is my 3rd Mathews and might be my last! While I’ve shot it a lot and been hunting with it almost daily there’s issues! First these thin grips are horrible!! My last 2 had the wooden fat grip and fit so perfect with minimal hand torque. This lift will move all over the place with very little hand movement!! Also only had it 4 months and dang camo is wearing off arnd the grip area!! So disappointed in this bow!! For what these cost the paint/finish should last for years!!

Try a total peep grip. I had the same issue with the stock grip. The total peep grip really changed how I was able to get a repeatable grip.

This cam tuning system is awesome. I'm looking hard at upgrading to this bow.

I shoot with anti slip tape on my grip for years. Just a single piece right down the middle of grip. I shoot with a glove on my bow hand year round. That raised part is actually a great idea, my opinion of course.

By moving the limb to the right, you’re effectively moving the cam to the left chasing your tear. When you were moving it to the left I was like no no no Lollol

I really like that Verde camo reminds me alot of a Chinese dragon skin

From other reviewers, you can leave the cover screws out on adjustment. It is a “dust cover”

I would think that nock high tear would be because of the angle that shooting downward would cause! It looks like you are shooting downward at a pretty good angle!🤷♂️

😂😂 I have been watching for a while I never knew your name was Nate I thought it was Jack
@Angel.Custodio5 күн бұрын
Forgive my newbie question, but could the nock high be affected by the angle of your shot?
@jordanpowell2285 күн бұрын
Not like your thinking. You'd have to be at an extreme angle to really notice that

Is that the Lift XD in the background would love to see a video on this where someone is actually shooting it.

Give me another day to edit it up! Filmed and edited everything yesterday when the bows hit my store. I'm not special enough to get them early like other shops to have content ready the moment the bow launches.

All the years of shimming a cam to exact tolerances out the window? I'll wait and see...

You say “massive issue” with limbs ……then continue to say that it was “as big as many made it out to be”…….the biggest Mathews dealers have publicly reaffirmed that it was less that 2-3% of bows sold. What have you seen as far as % of bows affected?
@averagejackarchery5 күн бұрын
It was close to 7% for me and several other dealers I have spoken to. The biggest issue was when it would happen twice or more to the same customer. That's "the original limb batch was bad" that's a bad engineering designer that continues to fail for a customer.

I told my coworker about you Nate, he will be bringing his wife up to shoot the new lift
