Great breakdown on the new limb shift system. Glad to see it on the new bows.

This cam tuning system is awesome. I'm looking hard at upgrading to this bow.

I got to hold them today in at my local shop in Washington State. Very nice. I ordered a Darton 35 ST2 but now I may have to get the Mathews 33 for hunting. Can't go wrong with either bow.

By moving the limb to the right, you’re effectively moving the cam to the left chasing your tear. When you were moving it to the left I was like no no no Lollol

You know I think my biggest interest on all of the bows is how does it feel when it comes to that Valley does the bow Shake everywhere as you hit the back wall or does it just draw from point A to point B straight back I usually try to set mine up that way I like more of a Target Field in my hunting bows I guess

I shoot with anti slip tape on my grip for years. Just a single piece right down the middle of grip. I shoot with a glove on my bow hand year round. That raised part is actually a great idea, my opinion of course.

I finally upgraded to the Lift this July. This is my 3rd Mathews and might be my last! While I’ve shot it a lot and been hunting with it almost daily there’s issues! First these thin grips are horrible!! My last 2 had the wooden fat grip and fit so perfect with minimal hand torque. This lift will move all over the place with very little hand movement!! Also only had it 4 months and dang camo is wearing off arnd the grip area!! So disappointed in this bow!! For what these cost the paint/finish should last for years!!

Try a total peep grip. I had the same issue with the stock grip. The total peep grip really changed how I was able to get a repeatable grip.

I’ve seen someone online get their riser replaced by Mathew’s for free since their camo started to wear off. Something you might want to look into if your are worried

From other reviewers, you can leave the cover screws out on adjustment. It is a “dust cover”

Just to clarify - Mark Hayes said on a recent podcast that the limb technology is the same as the gen 2 limbs on the LIFT they just didn't rebrand them as the ARC 7.

Being left handed, hardly any bow shops carry bows I want to try out. Is the Lift X the safest gamble for me? Smooth, forgiving and quiet are my priorities w/o giving up too much speed. 28" draw. The 29.5" or 33"?

I really like that Verde camo reminds me alot of a Chinese dragon skin

My brain couldn’t take it I would have to start out with the limb shift marks in the same spot top and bottom 😂

I would think that nock high tear would be because of the angle that shooting downward would cause! It looks like you are shooting downward at a pretty good angle!🤷♂️
@Angel.Custodio2 ай бұрын
Forgive my newbie question, but could the nock high be affected by the angle of your shot?
@jordanpowell2282 ай бұрын
Not like your thinking. You'd have to be at an extreme angle to really notice that

Give me another day to edit it up! Filmed and edited everything yesterday when the bows hit my store. I'm not special enough to get them early like other shops to have content ready the moment the bow launches.

Should I upgrade I have the lift 33 ???
@michaelvstheworld36802 ай бұрын
I would not. It is the same bow minus the limb shift technology. If your bow is tuned good, just stay with it. The Mathews top hat system is rock solid and holds a tune well. The only reason to upgrade is for the limb shift technology, which I am sure is rock solid. So unless you want to play around with a bunch of arrow systems and different weights this off season, just wait one more year.

I feel like they shouldn't have shaved it out so much I feel like there's going to be a lot of flex in that riser maybe I'm wrong but I just feel like why change it just because people want to go lighter I know they got to follow the damn Trend but that boy being heavy like it was held Like a Rock I've never got along with their cam though the dump into the back wall has never really suited me I know they change their cam up just a little bit I heard

You say “massive issue” with limbs ……then continue to say that it was “as big as many made it out to be”…….the biggest Mathews dealers have publicly reaffirmed that it was less that 2-3% of bows sold. What have you seen as far as % of bows affected?
@averagejackarchery2 ай бұрын
It was close to 7% for me and several other dealers I have spoken to. The biggest issue was when it would happen twice or more to the same customer. That's "the original limb batch was bad" that's a bad engineering designer that continues to fail for a customer.
