@@pascalfanacht6775 Yeah, like sure, 400 kg done within the raw powerlifting parameters with a stiff bar is obviously outside the realm of an average person, or even most elite lifters, but it's also not some kind of line I would draw and say "Here is the natty line". This line has been drawn so many times, it wasn't very long ago where a Raw deadlift at 300 kg was seen as impossible for anyone natural at below SHW.
@Noah-hq5rs3 жыл бұрын
I've always wanted to know what a max would be for a natural athlete.
@MSimp2k63 жыл бұрын
@@pascalfanacht6775 I think that's fair-ish. Tom Martin was hitting somewhere around 350kg @ ~90kg before he hopped on (420kg @ ~110kg with PEDs). I can't really think of many better p4p deadlifters than Tom. Maybe he could've eked out some more kgs as a natty if he put on a bit more weight, but he must've been close to his natural limits. Deadlifting doesn't really benefit from weight gain in the same way that squat/bench does, so it's not like you can just go up a few weight classes and automatically deadlift more, either. If a .001% elite natural lifter tops out at around 350kg, I think that says something. Greg Nuckols has also written some really insightful articles analysing the strength levels in tested/untested feds, and the difference tends to be somewhere between 10-20% more weight lifted.
@Jeneric813 жыл бұрын
MiniUUK Level 40 It would seem that in powerlifting the Deadlift doesn’t favor the heavyweights. Which is curious, considering that strongmen are the best deadlifters and weigh the same or more. It might be because Strongmen also are rather tall (Eddie Hall is a ”short” strongman at 190cm) eliminating the potential leverage disadvantage of being a bit shorter with a huge gut.

@MrTVx993 жыл бұрын
@@AerinQQ Well I wouldn't be taking tren as a powerlifter. Tren probably doesn't give you that much strength, not relative to it's side effects because you put on hard muscle and not get water retention. You want to have water retention in your muscle for strength purposes. And I don't know why people use Tbol instead of something with a shorter half life like test enanthate. Anyway they probably use a mixture of compounds because the different steroids can work together and provide more strength so it won't be Tbol alone. They probably take deca, test stuff like that on top of it. Tbol also used to only be detected for 5 to 7 days before 2015, and after 2015, that went to 5 to 7 months and that probably caught many people out. www.sportsintegrityinitiative.com/rodchenkovs-development-turinabol-test-raises-questions/ Guess Tbol gives more strength than other steroids, but I mean you'd never use it when you are being tested, the long detection time will mean you will fail long after using it. So people probably don't know how long the detection time is was the reason they failed.
@scottw37803 жыл бұрын
AerinQQ / used for short detection times, As tests moved on this is no longer the case. Test suspension and some of the new no Esther compounds used to be used for same reason, although I don’t know if the detection rate has also changed for these too. Decca can only be used by none tested athletes as it stays in your body for months after 1st use.

I think we can all agree that majority of athletes at a high level are on gear, they’re just not caught. Much like Olympic athletes, they time their cycles or get doppelgängers to give samples etc to avoid being caught. A lot of them probably use new steroids that can’t quite be detected (or even a little change such as adding a new oxygen molecule for example which would technically make it not a banned substance) or their body processes them really efficiently and passes through their system really quickly due to their genetic make up and response to PED’s. As soon as I learned that I couldn’t look like Dan Green and be as strong without taking gear I was devastated but it enabled me to realise that ALL these sorts of athletes are on gear and I was fine with that after, but not everybody realises this and still looks at people on the cover of menshealth and thinks that they can achieve a physique like that consistently. I think more education needs to be done with this sort of stuff. At the end of the day, I can see the stigma of being caught positive in tested leagues, but a lot of people don’t even acknowledge it if they compete in untested leagues as though it would hurt their reputation.

Adam Montoya I agree. In a video with Alan Thrall, Silent Mike, and Meg Squats, Mark Bell talked about how, like marijuana, steroids don’t really harm anybody. It’s a personal choice and people should not judge you for what you choose to do. They should be legalized, you should be able to get them from a doctor if approved by the government, similar to legal marijuana. they are all on the juice anyways. And the positive effects you get from roids hangs on. I dont think it should be allowed. Because in my mind it have nothing to do with pushing your body to the limited. They just wanna get an edge, and it is just starting to come out how fake alot of athelete that looks super human really is.

Drug test never stops drug use, It is a competition about fame and money you can make damn sure that people will try to cheat one way or another, what drug test is keep people's drug use within a limited range, it's a relative fairness, do others take drugs? If it's not a hobby lifter chances are that person took drugs, but if they are not caught, means they didn't go full breaking bad.

lol @ all the people in 2020 still thinking that most athletes across all sports don't use gear you still believe in the tooth fairy and santa claus, don't you?

1:53 why are the spotters basically thin kids??? How should those skinnys catch 320kg bar? I mean cmon.. cant they get atleast grown men? Its not a backyard lifting comp.. its an official tournament. They could invest some money into the safety of their lifters and spotters.

Drug tested doesn't mean drug free, olympics, in all major sports, its everywhere just have to deal with it , makes it entertaining I guess , no-one wants to see thier sports icon looking human or tired .

It's a shame to compete in an unfair sport. I prefer clean sports personally (for combat sports) but ones that openly allow PED's so everyone is on the same playing field seem fair.
@Caspaah1513 жыл бұрын
What? steroids are super cheap. you can run a cycle for under 100$
@eddieb45573 жыл бұрын
ROGERROCKMORE Yeah, combat and full-contact sports should stay anabolic-free forever. The bigger and stronger the athletes, the more damage they will inflict/sustain to their brains. Not to mention drugs like Trenbolone which actually cause neurological damage.

Turn to Jesus people he died for your sins, Repent of what the New Testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel obey the teachings of Jesus documented in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, be baptized if you have faith in Jesus then you will live life with him as your example. If you need prayer i'll pray for you. If you want to keep contact with a brother in Christ i’ll keep contact with you. The love of God is beyond our understanding. God bless
