Occasionally,it comes in handy especially if you run those small town PO without any ramp. If you mainly deal with the big PO or do DC to DC,then you can get away with it. But trust me,there may be a time and place it comes in handy.

The grease ports as you call them are referred to as ZERKS, because the grease fittings were invented by a Mr Oscar Zerk.
