Tune in for my latest video on straight or standard barbell vs a Transformer Bar or what is often called a safety squat bar. Here I discuss why the Transformer Bar by Kabuki Strength is a good training addition (due to the ease with which you can use multiple adjustments to alter muscle emphasis and joint stress) and then demonstrate which exercises I like most with a Transformer Bar. While it's certainly debatable where or not a squat is the 'king' of exercises, it certainly is a mainstay of most great strength and physique athletes, for the simple reason that it is a very fundamental movement to build a great strength foundation. That said, any way we can enhance the squat is a welcomed addition, and in my opinion, the Transformer Bar stands out in it's ability to do this. So tune in and learn how to maximize results while decreasing unnecessary joint stress/strain. As with all content on Exerciselab: more results less pain.
