As usual Sarah your attention to detail is beyond reproach, and some of your innuendos are crazy funny. The rubber butt-plug was almost too much for you not to crack yourself up! After having used spring compressors to change out the front coils on my 4Runner, I wince in terror every time I see someone do it on KZbin. Maybe it's just me, but the entire time I worked on those things I imagined the clamp coming off, ripping my face off and leaving it on the ceiling.

Absolutely love the look with lift on the Bronco
@rapTorfx42 жыл бұрын
My "old" F150 had the exact same front IFS set up. I didn't think of dropping the lca when I changed the struts though. On mine, I pulled the sway bar links and popped the upper ball joint off the knuckle, which gave enough room to pop the strut out of the saddle in the lca. In hindsight, this way may be easier next time I do that 😊

I really like the new Bronco, glad they sculpted it after the EB and happy to see you got a two door. As a kid I saw so many of them and my favourite was an orange one with the truck cab, even as useless as it was lol! Also excited that they brought back a manual transmission! Now if Ford would only add that option to the 2.7 twin turbo.

I am waiting for my BD Bronco and love your videos. Please think about installing front mudguards before you take it off road and spray mud and rocks all over your doors. Really like what you are doing with the Bronco. I kind of hope that before you go off road, you get some aggressive mudflaps on it. So many Bronco owners are talking about how mud and rocks are getting thrown up onto the side; even all the way up the doors.

The low control arm is at a greater angle when on the hoist because the strut is longer. The spring doesn't come into effect until you put a load on it which is why it sits higher once on the ground.

Why didn’t you use the impact to take the wheels off?
@irvingleong56842 жыл бұрын
I love your attention to detail and your technique, Those plastic rivets with the Philips screw centers are easier to remove when you pry them up with the tip of a razor knife. That keeps tension on it, so that the main body doesn't turn in the hole. When replacing them, there is no need to use a screwdriver to install them. They are installed like any others without the Philip screw head by just pushing them in. You need to use a crowfoot on your torque wrench to get to that inaccessible bolt reducing the torque value to compensate for the extended lever arm. Best regards from a retired aerospace engineer,
