Good morning, Cheryl! I did this session this morning for the first time. I really enjoyed it, superset 4 was challenging. The tricep move, I felt it in my triceps, but also in the anterior delts, bonus 😊 The butterfly crunches were challenging, too, I could only complete 10 reps on each set, but they felt great! I'm sure I'll be getting stronger by the third session! Keep them coming, I love these sessions, thank you so much for your time and sharing your talent ❤

I had a marvelous surprise today-I was able to complete the butterfly situps. I was able to get all the way up and stretch forward! I thought I would only be able to lift my shoulders a little! I have been working out with you for nearly a year, and what a difference it has made for me! This 71-year-old can complete a set of butterfly setups! Wow! Thank you, Cee for creating these workouts!

I saw your question asking whether viewers preferred the warm-up be included in the video workout or not. I was interrupted before I could reply, and then I couldn't find the survey again to reply. I appreciate having the warm-up and workout together. It makes me feel more like I'm working out with you (with much lighter weights, of course--which is motivating). Plus, as a novice, I need the warm-up reminder & example. I can always do the warm-up independently and fast-forward past when I am more gexperienced if I wish (but I won't), but I think it's valuable to keep it w/the workout for "newbies." I also really appreciate the very visible dating on todays workout. Sometimes, I begin playing older workouts because I think they are new ones. I both envy & admire you, but am mostly grateful for your willingness to helping those of us hoping to gain fitness as you have.

This may be a long comment but here goes. First of all my thought was “she’s trying to do me in” after the first set. Those b stance squats. Wowza. But I made it through. I got to the end of this workout with the butterfly sit-ups and I cried. I had kidney cancer surgery just shy of 8 months ago and my abs had 5 small incisions in them. Today I was able to do almost all all the butterfly sit-ups, slightly modified. I’m 60 years old and stronger now than I have been in a very long time and I’m looking to purchase some heavier weights. I’m doing things I never thought I could do. I want to thank you Cee for these free workouts. I live in the country and have no gyms nearby. Your workouts allow me to get an awesome, sweaty, feel-great workout from home. Between you and Jesus I’m getting stronger and healthier. You ROCK! Btw…I really like the 5 minute warmup. Gets the body and heart all ready to go. ❤

I discovered your channel in November 2023 and dabbled, but in early January I started to stay true to 3Xweek following your weekly workout. I'm already objectively seeing increases in my strength and subjectively feeling increases in ease doing ADLs. I am not new to exercise. I was a competitive cyclist in the past, and am still a mountain bike coach, cycle instructor, and yoga instructor. On top of that, I am a retired Physical Therapist and have enough knowledge to be ridiculously critical of KZbin fitness content. I enjoy your straightforward format, concise and precise instructions, and your positive approach. Your form is spot on! I have never enjoyed lifting in the past, but now I'm bummed on my "day off" that I can't do your workout. I have told many people about your videos, from family and close friends to my hairdresser. Just finished 4 full weeks of LIFT with CEE and my body is seeing the changes. I worked out for years at a local studio doing HIT and Cardio and in 4 weeks of lifting, my body is seeing noticeable changes. I am almost 50 and really enjoy these types of workouts. I do them 5 days a week and it is exactly what I needed. Cee is easy to follow and music and instructions are great. I am soon turning 65 and have noticed my muscle tone is gone and my hips were causing leg pain. Even doing a variety of your 30-40 minute workouts, for only 2 1/2 weeks, my hip and leg discomfort has reduced significantly as your routines have already added strength to my leg and hip muscles. Another great workout (I'm 73) for us older women. My only suggestion is either a counter or sound, especially on the floor, to know the speed of each rep so I don't have to watch my phone which is awkward while doing the exercise. Thanks again!

Hi Cheryl, I've been doing your 40 min workouts for 2 and a half weeks now and am absolutely loving them! They are the first workouts of any type that I've done that I actually look forward to. I do them every day and a 30 min one on Saturday and rest on Sunday. I use a 12.5kg barbell for the RDLs. I'm now going to colour code the workouts for days of the week based on the colour of your gym gear :) I think you've found the right formula with supersets, 30 sec breaks and useful info every now and again. But above all it's your lovely character that shines through. Thank you!

I started working out with you when my gym quit offering weight lifting classes. I have been working out with you consistently for a couple of years now. I love these workouts. I really like the 40 minute 3x a week format. I hope you keep making them. I like the warm up because at 66 I need to warm up my muscles before I plunge in! I like the warm up being in the workout because I workout early in the morning before work and have limited time so searching for a separate warm up video isn’t as easy as having it all in a one video. You inspire me to keep at it and have proven to me that you can built muscle in your 60’s. Being strong as you age is so important. It just makes life easier. As I have watched my 90 year old Mom struggle to get up and down from a chair or pick something up and it convinces me even more to keep up these workouts! Thank you Cee! Keep on inspiring us.❤

CEE, I love these workouts. I am 44 years old and have been doing HIT workouts the last 5 years but the last year or two I have noticed they just aren’t as effect as they used to be. I was instructed by a trainer to concentrate on more strength training and less cardio than I used to do. I am doing your30 minute full body with dumbbells Monday, Wednesday, and Friday your core workout everyday and cardio on Tuesday and Thursday. This one always gets me. I had a lower energy morning (seems the norm lately), but managed at moderate rate. Proud that I got through it despite battling this ongoing exhaustion. Added the abs compound and I am so done for today. Now shop, cook, appointment and clean around house..onward!!!

another great workout...cant believe how strong I am getting and how much better my 57 year old body feels!
