Light Balast - Copper Motors - Feeding Chester -

This week a local subscriber got ahold of me and donated some items to melt down. A few motors, some flag poles, pumps, and a light balast. Mother nature was working against me all weekend. I was trying to beat the clock before the rain set in. As it usually happens, mother nature won that battle.
I was able to feed Chester and begin the teardown process of the aluminum. I will have to finish this video next week. Make sure to tune in next week, not only to see what I get out of the melt, but I have a gift that was sent to me that will be a great addition to my melting.

Sheet aluminum and cast aluminum are different alloys and should be melted separately.
