eh, many are fair descriptors. light bearer fits the bill perfectly for the whole atmospheric sludge / post metal thing. Its just a way to help people find the music and to tell people what kind of stuff youre doing if youre coming to a town.

@hojima I don't think it's quite fair to say all post metal/post hardcore descends from black flag. discharge, amebix, and bad brains were also in the same time period, discharge actually a little bit before black flag. so don't give all the credit to black flag there, they get enough credit as it is. there are way too many starting points for what we reached here in light bearer, either way it's all fucking sick.

Yeah. Ive never understood people who use it for other shit. Fugazi / Faraquet / Medications / Drive Like Jehu, etc. It really doesnt apply to other stuff. So much of stuff that is mislabelled as hardcore/posthardcore is just bad metalcore for tweens.
