Light Hendrickson Wet Fly, Holsingers Fly Shop, Episode 516

This week's pattern is a slight twist on an old classic pattern. Most of the Hendrickson patterns you will find out there just use dubbing for the abdomen of the fly. In this version I swapped out the dubbing for some Turkey Biot Quills. These quills make some great looking flies and come in a variety of colors to match the hatches. I plan on tying this same pattern in a few different colors for my personal box for this year. Now that my new bamboo rod is done I'm looking to swing wets a lot more this year.
