Kyle Erman while in training the Spartan twos would use the Olly Olly oxen free tone to communicate and identify fellow Spartan twos. They used it for future purposes as well, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head. It was just a fast way to identify friendly Spartan two allies and if I'm remembering correctly only the Spartan twos (besides Dr. Halsey and maybe a few people in ONI) know about it's relevance.

Fireteam Osiris were pretty alright. I wasn't sure how much I'd like a next gen Blue Team, but by the end of the game, I was really liking them as characters. Their little ritual before making a jump makes them feel that little bit more genuine. The way they promoted them helped too. Releasing that cutscene as a trailer both sold me on the game, and made me accept them as a team. And this music played a key role in it. I mean DAMN this sounds like some Avengers type shit! Fucking awesome! If you want me to believe a group of people are a team, you give them a theme like this.

I loved it. The speed (sprint, thrust, clamber), the weapon & vehicle sandbox, expansive forge, net code & hit detection and the OST! Even enjoyed the scale, action and voice acting of the campaign. Allright! All you guys dissing this story need to fucking understand what a trilogy is. I remember when this community went apeshit over the Halo 2 story saying it was shit. But then out comes Halo 3 and it's the best story of all time all of a sudden! You people really like to jump on the bandwagon. As far as I remember every mid sequel in almost every game has been trying to emulate Empire Strikes Back, it's a archetype of storytelling, It's a turning point for a game that honestly, only since 4 began to give some characters some humanity, and don't fucking tell me that monotone, three-word-phrase Chief from the first trilogy is a better character, because you're fucking delusional. The only, ONLY thing that failed in Halo 5 was Locke being an underdeveloped character despite having a mini-series about him. The game is not better than 4, but it isn't bad or worse comparing to any other Halo game in terms of story.

Halo CE had a distinct style with techno synth and heavy steady drums, 2 had bombastic guitar and rock as well as some songs made entirely by independent groups like Incubus and Breaking Benjamin, Halo 3’s is probably the most halo-y style with emphasis on piano and orchestra, 4’s… well I don’t really know what that was, ODST has smooth and sad saxophone jazz and heavy drums, and Reach has emphasis on Drums, but not in the same steady way CE had.

+NathanBiggsXbL I own it.... the game is literal trash. campaign is trash, zero content, spartan customization just isn't a thing, games visuals look like shit besides the lighting and your own player. the only thing I like is that war zone game type and that gets old fast. do they still not have infection in it? I can't with that game. the amount of hours I have invested in the other halo games is too high I'm a big halo fan, this games just has nothing to it.

PRoy halo 4 was by far the worst halo for me, story and multiplayer. Halo 5 was definitely an improvement, story still sucked but as you said gameplay was phenomenal. Multiplayer is pretty good too, for me at least

There’s just something overly bearing about this song. It already starts with a hint of long struggle, leading into a hopeful climax. The build up is short enough to emphasise the desperation of winning. Then it dials down into a spiral of competitiveness, and in this case - conveying determination with oneself.
