People tend to downplay the shit that goes on in this game. The main character loses his two closest companions who he continuously worries about and has nightmares about throughout the story, he loses his home, and he is later tricked and betrayed by another "friend" that he trusted. Another kid's mom spends days on the brink of dying, and she nearly forces him to accept her death. Later, two villages are revealed to be strict, tyrannical prison. Finally the end comes, and the villagers find that they have no choice but to continue on to the end of their world. In the end, they all disappear, and it turns out that their entire existence was the coma dream of a little boy who barely survived a car crash, and whose parents had died in that same crash. Damn

This one song always appeared when I thought of this game. Strangely, this song always hit me in the heart and I kinda know why. When the scene showed her father dying, that hit me hard. That part in the original game made me cry cause it was my first real game character death. Plus, the sorrow in her voice made me think if me and my mom were in that situation. Just thinking about that made me sorrowful and shed tears. Songs ,no matter where they come from, can affect your emotions substantially. Undertale is the first game to make me cry. Then drawn to life the next chapter is the second game to make me cry. The vocals surprised me, then it surprised me even more when I started getting misty eyed and all. I feel like the games that'll make me emotional are going to get progressively more childish on the surface. Also the creator in this game is a douchebag. "Oh what a lovely heart reaching moment, well. FUCK ALL OF YOU! I don't want no death in mah domain!"

G&OStudios I had it before, but I never really got into it. I thought it was one of those dumb down kids games at the time. I was right when we talk about difficultly, but story and music is great. I do wish the game was harder. Currently at that lava area. So who knows. I did kinda pollute the game by adding my own crude humor into some areas. Also I wish I had the first one. Though I do like how with the way they made the next chapter is so you don't need to know much about the previous game, since the hero him/herself doesn't remember.

***** It was when I accidental killed Toriel for the first time. I think I also cried when I heard the song titled Undertale, but I don't remember that moment as much. Because Toriel was the closest thing to a real mother that I've ever seen. I had a very shit mother you should understand. It might sound crazy or dumb, but Toriel makes me feel like she's my mother, in dreams and such.

***** Yeah, I think the game is good if you play it once, or twice (to get pacifist ending). But if it's been spoiled or you've played it fifty times then the game is just repetitive and boring. I only played the game because I saw a billion people making videos and I wanted to see why it had so many playthroughs. Beat pacifist ending with no spoilers, except for what furries and early undertale players called photoshop flowey. It's ironic the game has replay value as a tag on steam, when in reality playing it multiple times, or getting it spoiled makes the game awful.

People, I chorded this. Take this with a grain of salt; I'm a music-obsessed child, not a professional. These chords are also based almost solely on the notes of the vocal line and not the accompaniment itself. The song is in C# major with main chord progression being a I V VI III. The "You know what I want..." section has a IV sprinkled in there and that comes back at the end. It's also obviously in 4/4 time. The vocal range of the song is an F3-C#5, just a step over an octave and a half. I prefer to sing it in F major, but I'm a soprano. Anyway, onto the actual chart. (FYI, I did not chord the intro; you're on your own there). [C# [G# My son, let my voice fill this room one more time [A#m Rehearse this line by line [Fm Until I'm out of time [C# [G# My son, can't you see that our troubles have run high? Open brackets indicate measure bars. And yes, I understand that the long "life" looks absolutely weird when it's written out like that. I hope this wasn't overly confusing.

How would they fit the Hero in? Drew is too generic of a design.

OMG YES! Or bring it to the 3ds so I can rebuy it and not have to risk it not playing on my 3DS.

what a fucking bait. Kid's game? This game was an adventure start to finish, and i loved it. It wasn't until several years later that i look back on it and realized the actual meanings of it. It's rare we get a story this powerful in a game like this. Not to mention the end hit me like a hammer. It is really meaningful.
