Light Painting Photography Tutorial - How To Light Paint a Faberge Orb!

In this light painting photography tutorial I show how to light paint a Faberge Orb! This is the very basics of this light painting technique and it is something that can be expanded exponentially! this light painting technique works with numerous different tools and the more tools and textures you include the better they usually come out. The main point to keep in mind when light painting your Faberge Orb is to remember that your shoulder is the center or pivot point for the orb and to keep the light source the same distance away from your body as you are turning to create the orb! I love your stuff. It is so impressive. I am totally new to photography as a whole. In my 50's like to be creative. I have ordered many of your tools and will be ordering the crystal pens to try this. Unfortunately, I have an old camera my bulb mode does not work I just use the timed feature. In any case, I will be traveling on a houseboat in July 2021 and will be using your instruction.

Light Paintings are created using long exposure, over the length of the exposure the camera records the movements of light. I will be making a new video soon explaining the very basic and beginner principals of Light Painting Soon.

Oh my gosh that blinking light over your shoulder was giving me an anxiety attack the whole time. I am assuming you just edited it out of the final image.

No edits on these, the angle of the video camera was different from the angle on the photo camera that captured the images so it might have been blocked from the view of the camera. Its a radio tower way off in the distance... :)
