I installed these off road driving lights on my Scion xB. They would work great for any vehicle, especially on a Jeep, 4Runner, Tacoma or similar.

I had four of that style of pods (different seller but prob same thing) in white as work lights and they were the only Amazon lights that I have never had water in and I didn't seal them other than where the wire goes in. The ones I had had thin steel brackets which broke however. Used them as work lights on a tow truck so they had a lot of vibration and took a beating before the brackets broke. I go down lots of washboard roads and little turkey trails

Yes, they cut through extremely well and don’t get washed out when aimed properly

Wich sealant did you used what brand ?

I just use permetex ultra black on mine because thats what i have and its black, but any rtv silicone should work.

Not if they're pointed down. I have them on my 98 Ranger Super Cab. I ask every sheriff in my town and they give me a thumbs up and say it's okay.

15 amp fuse is too much, check with a multimeter the power draw on those cheap ass chinese lights, they will draw something like 5-10 watts, I dont care what they advertize, they are advertizing the halogen equivalent. So when your wires short out and dont pop the fuse youll know why..

@@thebluexb ya switch it to a 5amp fuse or hell 2.5amp I bet those lights use 10w a peice. 10w is 0.83amps fyi. 20w is 1.66amps. And 30watts is 2.5amps. And so on.. you see where im getting at ? 15amp fuse on lights that would use say 2.5amps together is no good. Look up videos on how to check the amp draw with a multimeter.. its easy.. and youll be shocked. For example those 300w light bars people put on their roofs.. they put out like 30w of power..
