I done exactly what you did and driver window doesn’t work every thing else works. Put my old switch back until I find out what to do, I’ve tried two new switch same results

Got a 2014 and love it. Although the headliner rattle can drive me up the wall! lol it needs to be replaced. I really wish it came with a 4WD option like the Rumion has in Japan. So far my add ons have been; mud guards, bug guard, window vent shades, led everything, rear bumper protector, front TRD sway bar, K&N short ram intake, lowering springs, and I used to have a weapon R header and Borla dual exhaust, but removed them for a quieter ride. I also replaced the springs back to OEM since I was bottoming out a lot lol 1.5F & 2.5R drop will do that

I still have my 2008 with a manual transmission my daily, it's a little over 200k miles now and it is still going strong. Bought it new at the dealer since 2008. Around 100k miles something Toyota replaced the short block for me for free due to burned oil. Other than that it has been very reliable. Just a week ago I had to replace the rack and pinion rack assembly and rear bearing hubs. What can you say it's over 200k miles. Always use Mobil 1 oil since day one. I used to have a first gen, didn't like it due to lack of power. Traded in for 2008 and loved it. Especially with the manual transmission.

From 2012 to 2015 the oil consumption issue was solved from the factory. Still have my 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB. 144k miles.

The manual transmission in these are super super easy to drive highly recommend

less oil burning because toyota fixed it 2013+, on older model there was a TSB that put those fixes out.

I love Scion xBs! I first had a few first gens and now have a 2013 10 series. Do you have a link to where you purchased the tail lights? Also, I’m either thinking of getting the HPS short ram intake or the TRD cold air intake. There are videos to purchase each part separately to save money. Is your xB lowered? I was thinking of adding the rear sway bar, front strut bar, and TRD lowering springs. It’s my daily so I don’t want too harsh of a ride. Mine currently has 136K and counting. I upgraded the wheels and tires to Motegi Flow Form wheels with Conti tires. Keep up the great work with the xB content!

I use to own a 2011 Scion xB for four years, before I trade for a brand new 2015 Scion xB back in 2015. So total is 14/15 years of owning Scion xB. And now I had this lifted Scion xB for 3 years with no issues. Making it more useful. These xB are such a fun daily vehicle, it’s easy to maintain, fun to drive, make it more unique, and as an automotive led lighting enthusiast, upgrade to led and getting the right type of led is a must. Lasfit, Auxito, and Sylvania zevo led are my most go to brands. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Now it’s got 86k+ miles with no issues. I tried my best to covered all the parts that needs to be replace. And I miss the PCV and made my xB have up on me. Thanks to my uncle, she’s now run super well. I didn’t even realize it had a rough idle. It did but I couldn’t put my finger why. But all in all, do I want to buy another xB? Ya damn right I do. I want to own 3 xB2.5’s. Lifted xB application Lowered xB application Stock form application. That’s my goal one day. 🙏🏼❤️‍🔥

for patches, use glue dots (Zots) little dots of sticky rubber like the ones credit cards come with in the mail. Some headliners do not hold the velcro and need to be pinned in. these come in roll or sheet, used for posters etc.

Does the bumper need to be removed to remove the reflectiors and supplant then with the LEDs? I crawled under the rear of the car and the reflector screw and nut are not visible. There is an inner bumper cover that makes them inaccessible.

When I got my 2015 xb in 2018 I thought I was the only one in my town that had an xb. Probably not even a week later I seen someone with an older model of the xb. It was the exact same color.

I'm currently building out my 2011 XB car camping setup, so I can sleep and camp in the car (no tent). Have you considered building out your XB for camping? My setup will make no permanent modifications to the car, maybe I'll create a channel and upload a video of the process or finished setup.
