LightBlank - Friction Stir Welding Tailored Blanks

Suitable FSW joints were produced using a travel speed of 1000mm/min. HFQ® dome testing demonstrated that FSW joints produced using these parameters exhibit the ductility required to withstand the forming process. The finished TWB had a size of approximately 1390x770mm.

Looks good but how about the start stop locations? The work piece needs to be trimmed at those two ends. All the videos stop at the conclusion of the weld. How is the weld treated to remove flashing? Just askin'
