Hey mate, great video, nic is killing it for flat pedals, what’s the outcome for the berd spokes? Is there any difference? I’ve seen & fixed some pretty badly damaged wheels with ti spokes, would the berd spokes take a pedal strike or crash impact the same or are they more fragile? U know bet than most bmx is a contact sport. Would love to hear a breakdown of these wheels after the racing is done for this round.

Some ppl will probly hate on ya for this but I really dig it. Being new to the racing side of BMX but coming from a stand up jet ski racing background I used to do the same kind of testing with my ski. Changing little things and looking for small improvements. I enjoyed watching. Thanks!

Doing gates and testing with GQ , takes about 10 to warm up and average out. Sometimes still seeing improvements past gate 20

Seems like the berd spokes are dampening the initial explosion of force transferred to the rear tire. which explains why the Berd spokes work so well on a mtb

Thanks for the Update, ive been lookin at these spokes, but Id love to see the same comparison of a normal aluminum wheelset like a bombshell SL hoop and non Onyx Hub Non Ti Spokes. I dont know if the times would be different, rotational mass isnt that different.

@@barrynobles95 Yes sir, just a plain set of good Aluminum hoops and a good hub with SS spokes Alum Nipples. What 90% of the industry runs, compare those to the Bred's or even your carbon Ti spoke set. Id be curious to see is you weren't within .01 of your best time. Thanks Barry You Rock man!!!
